Finally, my website got a new home. It wasn't easy to find a domain name that is free - many combinations like housestation.com or housemusic.com are already gone so I had to come up with something different. I ended up with a combination that I think sounds pretty cool: SpiritOfHouse. Isn't it all about the feeling, the spirit that people bring into music when they write, record and produce a record so others can listen and dance to it? That's why I have choosen this name.
The change to the new address isn't finished yet. I still have to move my mixes to its new location. Once this will be done, they should be accessible without the problems you may have got in the past few weeks. Also, I am planning to do an update of the look of the site later this year.
From time to time, there will be guest reviews on my website. They will be included into my weekly reviews. You can submit your reviews by sending them to me by email.

The import situation got even worse this week. It looks like our local distributor might stop doing vinyl imports at all. Lots of records (like the Kings of Tomorrow triple-album) I didn't get although they are commercially available. If the situation won't get better I'll have to look for alternate ways to get my records.
There were some problems with the US imports this week and I didn't get all the news. The situation should change back to normal operation the next week.
After last weeks problems with Fortunecity.de, I started to store my mixes at Xoom. I hope that the site will be stable enough for your listening pleasure.
