Joe Flame and his D#Sharp label kick 2008 off in a big way with the incredible "You are wonderful", a masterly produced vocal production featuring outstanding vocal performances by both KT Brooks and Libby Jones. Coming in none less than six equally brilliant versions (including remixes by Jaysun and Louie Balo), "You are wonderful" is all about the spiritual vocals and the infectious grooves that create an uplifting and resistless feeling that will catch you with every listen.

Joe Rizla featuring Natasha Koss "Just one night" (Black Keys Music Records CD Promo)

Joe Rizla follows up the wonderful deep house vocal production "Sunday afternoon" with the next bomb titled "Just one night", again featuring Natasha Koss who delivers a beautiful sweet vocal over a deeply stormin' backing groove that is enriched with marvelous jazzy keys and chords, altogether creating an irresistible vibe. Image Previously only available in Japan, Justin Imperiale's full length album "Stereophonic" will finally be available all over the world soon through Cabana Records, his own label. The album continues what the two previous single releases (the "Deeper than EP" and "Piano Daze", both included on the album) started: bringing you intelligent deep and jazzy house music by a gifted musician, with all ten included tracks being soaked with influences from soul, afro, jazz and latin, with various talented guest musicians contributing to the project that oozes with its versatility. The result is a timeless, wonderfully crafted album that should not be missed.

Picks of the Week

Reel People featuring Tony Momrelle & Imaani "Amazing" (Papa Records CD Promo)

"Amazing" is the second single taken from Reel People's forthcoming "Seven ways to wonder" long player. In its original form, "Amazing" is an updated take on the beloved, classic 80's soul sound, featuring outstanding vocal performances by Tony Momrelle and Imaani. Jon Cutler contributes a marvelous New York styled deep house interpretation, adding his distinct style to the song. Tarantulaz (Sir Piers and Tony Economides) are next, delivering a powerful yet soulful interpretation that is wonderfully orchestrated, with beautiful chords leading the way for the vocals, all nicely arranged over a fierce funktified groove. A classy remix package that manages to keep the magic of the original alive while transforming it for the soulful dance floors.
