The Salt Shaker Music Group are about to launch "The Classic Rework Series" which will focus on classic dance favorites reworked and reimagined by some of the top names from the dance music community. The first release in the series is this fabulous cover of the unforgettable Sylvester classic "I need you" performed by none other than legendary Kenny Bobien and produced by Jose Burgos, not to forget to mention the cameo musical appearance by house music diva Dawn Tallman. Their interpretation of "I need you" stays true to the original yet takes the song to all new heights thanks to Kenny Bobien's inimitable vocals and Jose Burgos' famous old school inspired production. A timeless soulful gem by no means to be missed. |

South African house music continues to take over dance floors all over the globe, and beyond doubt this ingenious production by Nkokhi featuring vocalist Botshelo Huma will be on the forefront of this movement. The original version of "Something new" combines smooth yet infectious percussive afro-tribal rhythms with deeply rooted vocals by Botshelo Huma, grand jazzy keys and heavenly synth melodies - simply breathtaking. This phenomenal compilation features not less than fifteen tracks taken from past and upcoming releases on Smooth Agent Africa, selected by South Africa's DJ Razor and Sean Kwinda of Anarchy Music along with label head Sean Smith. Not much needs to be said about this compilation featuring awesome productions from the likes of DarQknight, Monocles & Slezz, Napoleons, Deejay Bongzin, Deep Monks and Soultones SA (to name just a few) beside you are taken on an exhilarating journey through deep'n'soulful South African inspired house music you wish would never end. Italy's Dolls Combers are back on Spirit of House with "Nothing lasts forever", a marvelous soul/jazz oozing production on a laidback tip featuring heartfelt vocals by James Lavonz, grand jazzy keys and heavenly chords over a smoothly stompin' organic backdrop. The Funklovers contribute two masterly orchestrated versions, with the first one being a fabulous soul/funk infused interpretation, while the second one gives the song an uplifting old school inspired Disco-Funk feel. Completing the package are Mangesto with their fantastic deep rendition spreading a warm melodious feel on the dance floor. This soulful gem having timeless written all over is by no means to be missed. |

Lets turn back the clock to 2007 when POJI Records released the unforgettable "House of Love" album which features many timeless productions by DJ Pope and DJ Oji. Fast forward to 2013 and "I'm in luv", one of the standout tracks from the album produced and written by DJ Pope and performed by Adrian 'Blu' Moore, gets a full single release.
