Earlier this year, Quantize Recordings released remixes of the song by DJ Spen & Thommy Davis, Timmy Regisford & Adam Rios, Larry Espinosa & George Vibe Cardenas and Bad Zuke, now courtesy of Fatsouls Records come these brand new absolutely mind-blowing and timeless interpretations. DJ Said, Stephen Rigmaiden and Fuminori Kajago all add their distinctive deep/soulful/afro flavored touch to the song, keeping the spirit of the original alive yet taking this masterly crafted song to a whole new level. It is next to impossible to pick a favorite out of the three included versions, quite simply each one is guaranteed to make you yearn for more. Finest underground afro-house music by no means to be missed.

"Back & forth" is the second single taken from the breathtaking truly seminal "The Future Divas EP 2" by Simon 'Schooly' Phillips aka Soulful Session reviewed here on Spirit of House back in August of this year. "Back & forth" features the inimitable emotive vocals of Chelsea Como, exclusively for this release the original mix has been revamped by Simon 'Schoolboy' Phillips. Next is a fabulous 90' inspired rework by Craig Stewart & Dale Nortier laced with grand jazzy piano, killer saxophone and lovely flute. Following are Two 4 Soul who contribute a classic soul/funk infused rendition featuring dramatic strings and illustrious keys and organ over an infectiously groovin' backdrop. Finally, Shotdown take the song to deeper somewhat dark grounds, giving it a tantalizing feel guaranteed to send the floor into a frenzy.

The second release on Global Diplomacy Productions is taken from the truly seminal "Unity through Sound Volume One" EP reviewed here on Spirit of House just a couple of weeks ago. "Watch me fly" by Baltimore songstress Janice B was originally released in 2009 as the title track of her debut EP (through Stinkiface Music), now the song has been given a soulful dance floor makeover. First up are N'Dinga Gaba & D-Malice whose blissful interpretation oozes with enthralling afro rhythms and exquisite jazzed-up keys, next AudioArQue contribute a breathtaking atmospheric tribal groover on a laidback tip, followed by Deep Sentiments & Opz who serve a masterly orchestrated broken beat flavored affair. Then there is Mo Rece with his haunting abstract take of the original, and finally the package includes N'Dinga Gaba's mellow rendition previously included on the "Unity through Sound Volume One" EP.
