Karltone "Love me proper" (Stellar Records CD Promo)

If you're familiar with the timeless and unparalleled sounds of Disco-Funk, listening to this incredible track by newcomer Karltone will without doubt take you back (at least in memories) to the time when this sound was ruling the dance floors (and the world was a better place). Karltone's heartfelt vocal, paired with a masterly orchestration reminiscent to this era and the legendary Tom Moulton behind the mixing console make this a masterpiece not to be missed.

If you have read our blog post Upcoming DeepHaven Music gems… from last weekend, you know that this one here is not to be missed. Produced by William 'ReelSoul' Rodriguez and remixed by Man-X, "1000 ways" is a musical gem thanks to passionate vocals by of Stephanie Cooke and marvelous keys that are perfectly arranged over an infectious funk soaked groove. Simply this is one of those songs that will not just get played for a few weeks, but for years to come - a sure shot classic. The final release will also include the original ReelSoul version as well as a remix by Groove Assassin.

Direct Disco "Join the Disco ride" (Unreleased Mixes)(Purple Tracks Records Digital Download)

Originally released back in December 2005, this cool and classy Disco house track by Swiss producers and DJ's Mike Bannwart, Urs Diethelm and Ralph Grieco is now available as an essential eight mix package that includes various vocal, dub and instrumental versions (and as a bonus a hot loop accapella). Featuring an irresistible funky guitar riff and outstanding male spoken words reminiscent of the one and only Barry White, "Join the disco ride" is an uplifting track that is the perfect combination of a modern house groove with the incomparable sounds and feelings from the historic Disco era. The vibe spread by this great production should be an inspiration for any dance floor. We recommend to check out the extremely sexy 'Unreleased Suite Vocal Mix' that strips the track of the beats and drums.
 

Dom Navarra featuring Arnold Jarvis "All around the world" (French Kiss Records CD Promo)

It took some time, but Dom Navarra's album is soon to be released, with "All around the world" being the first single release, featuring the one and only Arnold Jarvis on vocals. The original is a soulful Latin tinged production featuring passionate vocals over a laidback percussion enriched groove, with the 'Alternate Take' taking the track to deeper grounds while keeping the vibe sweet and mellow. The Dolls Combers deliver a beautifully instrumentated jazzed-up rendition on a smooth tip, while Jonny Montana serves a deeply thumpin' dub featuring a marvelous organ solo. Lastly Ray Jones turns the track into a captivating deep house gem featuring lush synths and chords over a deeply stormin' groove.
 

Haldo "Back to my past EP" (Proceed Records CD Promo)

The "Back to my past EP" features brand new reworked versions of four tracks whose original versions have only been released through various compilations previously. Whether it is the smooth jazz-funky "Moody", the fierce yet soulful, Latin drenched "Boulevard" featuring sweet female vocals, the deeply stompin' jazz tinged "The world is ours" or the laidback "Credo" featuring wonderful jazzy keys and sax over a groovy backdrop - it all about the wonderful warm melodies to be found on this release.
 

Wil Milton & Rodney Carter "We are strong" (Blak Ink Music Records CD Promo)

"We are strong" sees Wil Milton and Rodney Carter uniting their forces again to deliver a deep soulful anthem for the clubs, with Rodney Carter providing emotional vocals over a deeply thumpin' beat that is enriched with sweet percussion and phat keys and chords, altogether creating a contagious feeling. 'Wils Solod Out Mix' strips most of the vocals while adding extra keys and synths to give the track a deeper hypnotic vibe. The 'Rod Takes The Stage' is a wonderful synthapella, with instrumental and beat versions completing the package.
 

Bernard Badie featuring Dajae "Truth hurts" (Smooth Agent Records CD Promo)

Since this track produced by Bernard Badie and featuring Dajae on vocals appeared on the Smooth Agent "WMC 2008 Sampler" back in March, the full release has been eagerly awaited. "Truth hurts" is a splendid deep house production featuring a sensitive vocal by Dajae and melodic keys over a moodily groovin' beat in its original form (included here in club, dub and radio versions). The remixes are courtesy of Andre Harris who serves a stompin' affair featuring lovely synth melodies, while Aaron Carl takes the track to deeper laidback territory. Natural Rhythm give the track a deep dubby makeover, while Bryan Bai-ee is twisting things around for an acid tinged groover.
 

Miguel Migs featuring Sadat X "Shake it up" (Salted Music Records CD Promo)

The hip-hop and house fusing "Shake it up" features Sadat X (with Lisa Shaw on backing vocals) and is lifted from Miguel Migs highly acclaimed album "Those things", getting a well deserved remix treatment. Miguel Migs himself kicks things off with his stripped down, deeply rumblin' dub, while Richard Earnshaw turns the track into a Latin spiced dance floor bumper. Nathan G's 'Lovebug Remix' deepens the vibe, while his 'Lovebug Booty Rub' gives the track a funked-up outfit. J-Boogie's version injects the track with serious Disco-Funk flavors, while Joey Youngman toughens the groove up on his tracky remix.
