Collective Souls Project (CSP) is a recently formed collaborative project involving Blackpool DJ/production trio Andy Edit, Davos and Barrie Jay. To make it short, their inaugural release "So amazing" is an uplifting soulful production laced with the unmistakable vocals of Lazarus, celestial synth melodies and an infectious organic backing. On remix duty is Groove Assassin whose lively truly soulful interpretation is sure to jam-pack the dance floor.

Blast from the Past: Soul Vision "Lowdown" (4 to the Floor Records Promo)

4 to the Floor Records continue to bring back house music classics from yesteryear, this time around they revive "Lowdown" by Soul Vision which was jointly released on Deep Vision Records and Bassclef Records in 1999 (the imprints of respective Soul Vision members Sandy Rivera and Jose Burgos). This cracking track is a remake of the unforgettable Boz Scaggs classic which features gorgeous rendition of the lyrics by Jaquita May Perkins and warm melodic keys over a captivating groovey backdrop.

Blast from the Past: Krystal Davis "So smooth" (Glitterbox Recordings Promo)

Turn back the clock to 1985 when Urban Rock Records (an independent New York based predominately Hip Hop label) released "So smooth" by Krystal Davis, an uber cool mid-tempo disco/boogie track that peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot Dance Singles Sales chart. Glitterbox Recordings bring this classic back to the dance floor, with their 12" vinyl release featuring the original vocal and instrumental versions alongside a wicked Yam Who? interpretation enriched with blissed out synths, and a contemporary nu-disco workout by Kon, with both Yam Who? and Kon staying faithful to the original.

The Rasmir Mantree produced blues influenced "Momma & poppa" is truly something special, with Yasin Bt's one-of-a-kind vocals being accompanied by grand jazzy keys, luxurious chords and smooth yet inexorable rhythms.
