Don't miss to check the 'Key Dub' which puts the blissful keys center stage to them create a captivating feeling. Simply wonderful.
DJ Roland Clark presents Urban Soul "Until we meet again" (Dolls Combers Remixes)(KingStreet Records CD Promo)
The 1996 Urban Soul classic "Until we meet again" which features the unmistakable voice of Roland Clark gets a second life in form of these beautiful remixes by Italy's Dolls Combers. Their 'Vocal Mix' is a funk soaked affair built around a fiercely groovin' backing that is enriched with warm melodic keys, while with the 'E-Expression Mix' they present a mesmeric journey into the darker side of deep house.

Danism (Dan Gresham & Dan Liquid) present an EP featuring unreleased material from their vaults, featuring up and coming vocalist Heidi Vogel. "Try" is an uplifting production on a classic tip featuring soulful vocals, jazzy keys and horns over a funk oozing backing, with David Harness taking the track to deeper hypnotic grounds while keeping the jazzy flavas alive. "Just let it happen" has a summery Balearic touch to it, again featuring beautiful soulful vocals, while "La la" is a simple yet effective feel good track topped with catchy "la la" chants.
Exclusive Preview: DJN Project featuring Nina B, Scott Wozniak & John Crockett "Tip it up" (CD-R)
In last weeks Spotlight Review, we had featured the DJN Project (Ruben 'Swift' Vidal & Rick 'Galactik' Wilkinson) with two of their recent productions, but didn't include "Tip it up" as we felt this uplifting gem deserves to be mentioned on its own. The track features soulful sexy vocals by DJN Project and Nina B. alongside lush keys and wicked organ play by Scott Wozniak and John Crockett over an infectious yet smooth backdrop, altogether spreading a feel good vibe.
Passionardor "Just thinking of you" (DEL Records CD Promo)
Passionardor (Mark Moore) follows his recent smash "There's a candle" with "Just thinking of you", a contaminous hands-in-the-air production on a retroesque Disco-Funk tip featuring funky bass and guitar, classic strings, jazzy flute and soulful vocals by Nicolette Street. The dub version gives the track a funked-up stompin' house outfit and drops the vocals, while Gregory Del Piero takes the track to deep house territory, giving it a somewhat techy edge.
