Beginning of October, we published our Pick of the Week review of "Everybody get up" by The Red Zone Project which features the inspiring vocals of Keith Anthony Fluitt, now comes a true gift from Def Mix Music in form of the 'Unreleased Demo Disco Mix' which samples the Chic/Sister Sledge all-time classic "We are family" to full effect, beyond the shadow of a doubt this is an absolute crowd pleaser... Sadly, as the sample was not cleared, this feel-good interpretation will never get released...

Marga Sol "Come & love me" (The Remixes)(Organised Noise Recordings CD Promo)

The original version of "Come & love me" by Marga Sol is a wonderful chill out production, courtesy of Organised Noise Recordings comes a fabulous selection of eclectic up-tempo interpretations by the likes of Mr Rantsho, Blaq Bone Bushy, Nteeze & Andy, Sand Isle and Thamza all adding their deep/soulful/broken touch, making it next to impossible to pick a favorite version... Highly recommended.

Blaze presents UDAUFL "Hiya love" / " Spread love" (KingStreet Records CD Promo)

Over a decade ago - in 2004 to be precise - the LIFEbeat AIDS awareness benefit compilation "Keep hope alive" produced by the almighty Blaze featuring Underground Dance Artists United For Life (a collective of the creme de la creme of artists) was released, now KingStreet Records grace us with brand new remixes of two of the projects most iconic songs. First up, Kenny Carpenter takes on "Hiya love" featuring the inimitable vocals of Kenny Bobien, transforming the song into a timeless uber soulful affair that is silky smooth yet spreads a thrilling vibe (both vocal and instrumental versions are included). Next we have the previously unreleased 'Agape Dub' by DJ Spen & Soulfuledge of "Spread love" featuring the unmistakable vocals of Byron Stingily alongside a killer saxophone.

Stephen Rigmaiden featuring Sam 7 "Rising sun" (Grooveland Music CD Promo)

Next up on Brazil's renowned Grooveland Music label is "Rising sun" by Stephen Rigmaiden which you might remember from the Brazilian Soul Crew mixed compilation "Grooveland Sessions Vol. 02" released in 2012. To cut right to the chase, the soulful yet enthralling "Rising sun" uses gentle percussive rhythms as playground for ethereal synth melodies and deeply rooted vocals by Sam 7, altogether spreading a tantalizing feel you can't resist to dance to.

From the motherland comes "Far away", a truly gorgeous soul infused production by Deejay 2mi featuring the sweet haunting vocals of Tman alongside luscious keys, heavenly chords and deep'n'gentle yet spell binding rhythms - in other words, "Far away" is a slice of top-notch soulful house music guaranteed to make you yearn for more...

Traxx Pick: Various "Tony's Traxxx 2015" (Tony Records CD Promo)

With the year end coming closer, Tony Records are unleashing a new installment of their annual "Tony's Traxxx" series loaded with not less than thirteen killer dance floor weapons. As the title suggests, this compilation is not about vocals, rather it is all about tracks that are destined to send the dancers into a frenzy and have been road-tested by label head Tony Humphries himself. "Tony's Traxxx 2015" is a truly diversified absolutely mind-blowing collection of tracks from an illustrious list of artists such as Tony Vee, Dazzle Drums, Luis Radio, House of Funk, Peppe Citarella, Urbe Deep Connextions, NOIR002, Luca Lala featuring Tiziano Di Sansa, Rito and last but not least Mr. Joseph. A real DJ's delight...

However, as we want to make sure you are well informed what is happening, we have introduced this section where, every now and then, we will highlight other noteworthy releases...

Tobetsa Lamola presents "Charles T Music Vol. 2" (the first volume was released in late summer of last year) packed with a total of nine glamorous deep house productions, some of which feature guest production by Abel Daizer, Jambox and Kgotso. Quite simply, this eclectic soul/afro infused EP takes you on an exhilarating journey to deepest grounds you wish would never end... (Ohyea Muziq Records CD Promo).
