In fall of 2016, South African ensemble Deepconsoul blessed us with their towering "Soul factory" album, then beginning of the year the equally impressive album "Healing time" followed. Now they are back with "Intuition"which features collaborations with an illustrious list of artists including QBatone, Tpee Soul, Decency, Denny Dugg, Dindy, Lady LeSoul, Mthandazo Gatya, Ras Vadah, Carvalho, ISO 900, SoulVista, St.Jovis, Vuyo Dunge, Xdizzle and Tatenda, as well as stunning remixes of "Just friends" by Kwesi Bless, "Fly away" by Mc-Fenda & QBatone featuring Felix and "Listen" by Tipsta featuring Misoul. Like its predecessors, "Intuition" is a truly ingenious and includes not less than seventeen masterly crafted and orchestrated verily soulful productions having timeless written all over. Without question, Deepconsoul have delivered another masterpiece with "Intuition" that will stand the test of time. In other words, the marvelous "Intuition" album is by no means to be missed...

Back in May we were celebrating "Be yourself" by Japan based purveyors of soulful house guri guri boys and legendary Blaze vocalist Josh Milan, now this verily uplifting expertly crafted production returns in phenomenal remixes. First up we have multi-instrumentalist maestro Michele Chiavarini with his dazzling latin infused interpretations guaranteed to make you yearn for more, next are Namy & Fuminori Kagajo with their timeless truly glamorous organic rendition, and last but not least Monolog & Fuminori Kagajo drop a fervid dub rework. Undeniably, these remixes are by no means to be missed.

In March, Paris Cesvette released her highly acclaimed debut artist album "Celestial", now she returns with the inaugural release on her brand new label OPOM (Our People | Our Music), a truly paramount remake of the George Duke classic "No rhyme no reason" co-produced by Luis 'Loowee R' Rivera and performed in grand style by Walter Christopher whose unmistakable sultry vocals harmonize perfectly with the illustrious keys and enthralling rhythms. Back in 1990, Allen 'Jovonn' Armstrong exploded into the house music scene with "Turn and run away" released on Warner Bros. Records, ever since he has been one of the real heroes and driving forces for unadulterated underground house music. Over the years, he has produced over 500 records (many of them are all-time NYC/New Jersey house music classics), and he has been running his own well-respected record labels Godltone Records and Next Moov Records. Earlier this year he launched Body N’Deep Records, after a couple of highly acclaimed single releases he is about to drop his mind-blowing full length album "Timeless" which includes not less than twelve brand new superb productions oozing with his incomparable truly ingenious house music sound; unquestionably this album loaded with nothing but pure authentic underground house music goodness is by no means to be missed.

Our Traxx Pick of the week is courtesy of Mikki Afflick who is about to take over dance floors around the globe with her latest offering the absolutely stunning "Mercury in Retrograde EP". Two equally brilliant tracks are included on this EP, first up is the vibrant title track "Mercury in retrograde" laced with illustrious keys, inebriant chord progressions and an enthralling organic backdrop.
