The phenomenal "People EP Vol. 1" features four blazin' hot old school inspired productions guaranteed to take you on a journey back into time. First up we have Louie 'Balo' Guzman's 1994 classic "Don't shut me out" (originally released on the "Boogie Balo EP" on Empire State Records) in a brand new spiced-up re-imagination which stays true to the original. Next is the deep melodious "Lose my mind" by Mikki Funk which combines classic garage sounds with luscious chords and snippets of Marvin Gaye's legendary "I heard it through the grapevine". 90's UK garage heroes Tuff Jam unite with Mike Sharon to bring their classic bumpin' sounds back to the floor in form of the phantasmagorical "Thank you house music". Finally, label head Marc Cotterell blesses us with "Jus dance", a classic US garage styled production which features the inimitable vocals of Karl The Voice alongside illustrious jazzed-up keys.
