The best of the rest...

We are getting so many promos sent each and every week that many of them never get reviewed here on Spirit of House (for various reasons nota bene). However, as we want to make sure you are well informed what is happening, we have introduced this section where, every now and then, we will highlight other noteworthy releases...

South Africa's Knate Koti (aka Areipeleng Mogomotsi Mona) graces us with the wicked "718 Unknown Street" EP loaded with three stellar old school inspired deep house productions oozing with a blissful laidback vibe. Put differently, deep sensual house music at its best( Double Cheese Records CD Promo). "Afterhours" by South Africa's Mzala Wa Afrika is a top-notch slice of super melodious and smooth yet tantalizing afro-deep house music perfect for late night, early morning play( Uno Mas Recordings CD Promo).

The truly hypnotizing "Heal this world" by Myles Bigelow is all about the infectious percussive rhythms, mesmerizing synth hooks and catchy male vocals. The remix is courtesy of Jonathan Meyer who gives the track an exhilarating techy feel (Super Soul Music CD Promo). Marc Cotterell comes correct with "Respect" an utterly intoxicating slice of slammin' US garage guaranteed to cause a stir on the dance floor (Plastik People Digital CD Promo).

We are closing this week's update with the glorious "Heavy Early Music Vol. 1" EP by Wilson Acevedo. Most definitely, the six masterly crafted cuts included on this EP take you on a blissful truly inspiring journey to afro/latin/jazz infused house music grounds you wish would never end... Watch out for Luis Machuca remixes dropping soon (CD Promo).
