Working Underneath featuring Vanita Wilson "Don't wanna be set free" (Haus'Flor Records CD Promo)

For their fourth release on the Haus'Flor label, Working Underneath have chosen Vanita Wilson to be the featured vocalist. "Don't wanna be set free" is a fantastic garage production featuring a passionate vocal by Vanita Wilson, coming in three different flavors. The 'Amped Original Mix' has an organic sound to it, featuring a deeply rumblin' bassline together with warm keys. The 'Underneach Mix' is a truly soulful affair, featuring sweet percussion together with a jazzy piano line and lovely xylophone solo. The 'New Jersey Nite-Life Mix' has an underground feel to it, using a deeply stormin' groove together with swinging percussion, rolling horns and spheric keys that create an irresistible vibe.

Exlusive Review: Rasmir "Native girl" / "917" (CD-R)

Here we've got two exclusive to bring to your ears, courtesy of New Jersey based producer Rasmir. "Native girl" features poetic spoken words by Nubian Sista and harmonic keys over a percussion driven, funkily groovin' backing track based around an ultra funky bassline. As a contrast, check the fantastic jazz house track "917"  thas is based on a broken beat groove, with additional steel drums featured that make this track stand out of all the other jazz house productions out there - something special indeed.
 

Raheem de Vaughn "You" (DFA Remix)(FallOut Records 12")

"You" ist taken from Raheem de Vaughn's debut ongplayer "The love experience". In its original form, it is a beautiful r&b song produced by none other than Kenny 'Dope' Gonzales that is taken to the dancefloor by DFA aka Darryl James & Fred McFarlane who give it a four-to-the-floor outfit featuring warm electronic keys over a thumpin' beat, creating a melodic groover.
 

Lefunken featuring Tyrah "Angel" (Franck Roger Remix)(Space Kat Records 12")

Lefunken's "Angel", featuring the wonderful voice of Tyrah, has been re-vamped by Franck Roger, the french maestro of soulful house music. His interpretation uses a smoothly bouncin' groove that is enriched with warm melodic keys and sweet percussion that serve as playground for Tyrah's emotional vocal performance.
 

Fuzion featuring Nicole Wright "Beautiful" (Fuzion Records CD Promo)

George Mena & Franke Estevez team up with singer and songwriter Nicole Wright for "Beautiful", a fierce production spreading an uplifting feeling through the passionate vocals by Nicole Wright that are layed over an infectious backing groove that uses a driving bassline and wicked keys together with a lovely guitar that gets to full effect on the 'Instrumental Guitar Ride Mix'.
 

D&K Project featuring Laura Williams "All that I left" / 17 Deep "Beat of the drum" (UK Basic Records CD Promo)

UK Basic are blessing us with their third release courtesy of Domenico Navarra (one half of Sueno Soul) that features two great songs. "All that I left" by the D&K Project features the vocal talents of singer and songwriter Laura Williams over a soulful deep house groove that comes with laminar keys and broken beat styled drums, not to forget to mention the wonderful vocal performance by Laura Williams. Reel Soul intensify the deep vibe, giving it a more laidback feeling. "Beat of the drum" by 17 Deep takes you on a journey into deep house with its percussion driven groove that is enriched with a jazzy saxophone solo and male spoken word vocal.
 

Toni Sea & Ralf Gum "Beautiful" (GoGo Music Records CD Promo)

For the latest release on his own GoGo Music imprint, Ralf Gum teams up with singer Tony Seawright for "Beautiful", featuring addtional background vocals by Inaya Day. The original mix and accompanying dub feature bouncing beats together with syncopated drum patterns and wicked keys, creating an irresistible vibe. Raw Artistic Soul add their down distinctive style, creating an uplifting and dream afro dub. The last mix is courtesy of Roberto De Carlo who rounds up the release with an astonishing fresh and funky mix that keeps it truly soulful.
 

11 AM "Shine" (deVICE Records CD Promo)

11 AM (aka Andy Tracey & Mark Atherton) present their latest release "Shine". The 'Classic Vocal Mix' is an uplifting track that is spreading a feel good vibe through the catchy keys and vocal layed over a groovy backing track. The 'Sweet Keys Dub' keeps the choruses and replaces the verses with addtional keyboard solos, creating an irresistible feeling. The 'A+M Re-Rub' combines the best of the other two mixes, creating a more laidback vibe.
 

Deepswing "Lost in music" (Generate Music Records CD Promo)

"Lost in the music" is a funky house production by Eric Wikman, featuring Marta SantaMaria on vocals. Both featured mixes create an anthemic feeling thanks to irresistibly funky groove. While the 'Original Mix' uses swirling and filtering effects and classy breakdowns, the 'Jazzy Mix' uses a jazzy instrumentation and smoothly thumpin' groove to create a deeper, more laidback vibe. A release set to take you on a ride when you're dancing to it.
 

Anané & Mr. V "Move, bounce, shake" (Vega Records 12")

After the success of "Let me love you", AnanĂ© & Mr. V present the Masters at Work produced follow up "Move, bounce, shake". They provide a sexy and seductive vocal performance over an old school track coming your way on an electronic tip,  using a deeply bumpin' groove as base for the techy keys and vocals. This one is served in vocal, instrumental, acapella nd beats versions, letting you play around with it.
