Tony S "The Omerta EP" (Look Ahead Records CD Promo)
"The Omerta EP" by Tony S (aka Tony Stevenson) features the two tracks "Omerta" and "Known unknowns", both of which are built around dope rhythms and luscious melodies, making this a sure fire favorite for the deeper floors. A nice remix of "Omerta" by Desos (aka Brian Logstrup) is also included.
Tom Conrad "Vimana" (Adaptation Music CD Promo)
After two massive vocal projects, Adaptation Music bring us this wicked instrumental project by Tom Conrad titled "Vimana", a track using a deeply storming backdrop as playground of luscious keys and chords. The remixes are courtesy of E.B.E, Jon Silva and Pablo Fierro all adding their unique touch, making this an essential deep house release.
Masahiro Suzuki "Wondazloop" / "Red criola" (Black Vinyl Records CD Promo)
Japan's DJ/producer Masahiro Suzuki pulls out all the stops with this release featuring two truly deep tracks destined for the underground. The groovy yet dirty "Wondazloop" is an ingenious sample-fest, while "Red criola" is a remorseless bouncin' affair featuring killer keys and chords. Make no mistake this one will take dance floors by storm...
Offie & Ky "Ad Fontes EP" (Deeper Shades Records CD Promo)
Joburg's Offie Nxumalo & Clive 'Ky' Staples present an incredible release with the "Ad Fontes EP" ("Ad fontes" is a Latin expression which means "to the sources" [lit. "to the fountains"]) which features two equally great deep hypnotizing tracks laced with celestial synth melodies. Remixes by label head Lars Behrenroth and Yotam Avni take both track to the next level - highly recommended.
Teflon Dons "Deeper Shades loves... Teflon Dons" (Deeper Shades Records CD Promo)
"Deeper Shades loves..." is a new series featuring 90's house music previously released on vinyl only, selected by deep house maestro Lars Behrenroth. The first installment in the series is courtesy of Los Angeles based production team Teflon Dons and includes three of their tracks released between 1995 and 1999 on Worldship Music. Included are "L.o.v.e.", "Chants of Lemuria" and "All new gods" all showcasing Teflon Don's love for luscious deep house. If you haven't heard of the Teflon Dons or Worldship Music before, this is your chance to get your hands on some of their stuff...
Mike Dominico featuring Big Papa Sparber "Stand up" (Muted Trax CD Promo)
Mike Dominico's deep somewhat dark "Stand up" has been a peak time favorite since it first saw the light of the day in the 'Original Sneak-a-peek Dub' thanks to its vibrant rhythms and wicked keys, now the full release is here featuring fiery vocals by Mike 'Big Papa' Sparber on the newly added vocal mix. The real delight is the 'Deep Dub' with Scott Wozniak taking the track to a whole new level - deep and infectious with those killer organs creating an intense feel.
Southbound "For Old Times Sake EP" (Oh So Coy Records CD Promo)
Southbound (Matt Prehn & Matthew Loots) revisit three of their favorite tracks previously released through Tango Records (USA) and their own Southbound Recordings (South Africa).
