We are going to keep it short and sweet on this one here... South African producer Sibutone blesses us with "Buya mfana", a marvelous production with gentle yet thrilling afro-deep rhythms leading the way for gorgeous melodious keys and chords, not to forget to mention the sweet'n'sultry Zulu vocal stylings by Lucia. A soulful gem from the motherland not to be missed.

Anthony K. featuring Rescue Poetix "Passion" (Rhythm Inside Records CD Promo)

Spoken word artist Rescue Poetix continues to grace us with her unrivaled poetry on this beautiful collaboration with Anthony K entitled "Passion". An organic backdrop consisting of laidback percussive rhythms and old school funked-up bass serve as playground for Rescue Poetix unrivaled spoken word poetry and exhilarating keys - sheer musical bliss. Included in the package are a dub version putting the emphasis on the keys and an alternate uber seductive version featuring Spanish lyrics.

Marc Cotterell "Music is our mission" (Plastik People Recordings CD Promo)

From Marc Cotterell comes the truly amazing, absolutely breathtaking "Music is our mission" EP which pays tribute to the legendary house sound nowadays referred to as 'old school'. Three tracks are included on this EP: "For those who we love" features tantalizing vocals from Tears of Velva, glamorous keys by Slikk Tim and classy sax by Johnny Vasquez. "Layla" opens with a mind-blowing strings intro before hard-hitting rhythms and celestial atmospheric melodies take center-stage. Finally, "Let yourself go" spreads a hypnotizing feel through ruthlessly thumpin' rhythms, enchanting saxophone by Dave Mullen and enticing keys.This release will be available on vinyl only in December, with a digital release following early next year.

Adam Rios featuring Koffee "Welcome to my club" (Remixes)(Tribe Records CD Promo)

Earlier this year - in late March to be precise - we introduced you to Adam Rios absolutely remorseless dance floor anthem "Welcome to my club" which features the one-of-a-kind spoken word poetry by Koffee the Floetress, now the remixes have landed. First up is Shur I Khan (aka Tom Szirtes) who reworks the track into a deep mesmerizing affair laced with ethereal synth melodies, then we have DJ Garphie dropping a fervid utterly infectious afro-deep rework loaded with glorious keys and chords.

Carlos Vargas featuring Danny "Summer nights" (Grooveland Music CD Promo)

"Summer nights" by Carlos Vargas is the first single taken from the recently reviewed "8 Years of Grooveland - From Brazil to the World" soon to be released on leading Brazilian house music label Grooveland Music. As the title suggests, "Summer nights" is an uplifting sun drenched production which combines a grand sax with exquisite keys, seductive vocals by Danny and a smooth funk soaked backdrop. The package comes complete with an eclectic selection of deep/soulful remixes from Ars Domini, 2Deep&Soul, Scott Diaz and Zogri, giving you plenty of options to work the floor.

Deep House Pick: Jakobin & Domino "Closer EP" (Large Records CD Promo)

This weeks Deep House Pick comes from legendary Chicago house label Large Records who bring us the "Closer EP" by Vienna based production duo Jakobin & Domino. Three tracks are included on this truly dazzling release: Kicking things off is the title track built around relentlessly thumpin' rhythms and enthralling synth melodies - a choice cut for prime time play. The other two tracks "Point of view" and "Here to stay" are both on a much more laidback tip perfect for late night action thanks to deep gentle rhythms and charming dreamy melodies.

Afro-Deep Pick: DJ T.I.C & D'Elaborate Nossca "Baka'nswazwi" (FOMP CD Promo)

This weeks Afro-Deep Pick is courtesy of DJ T.I.C & D'Elaborate Nossca from Botswana whose upfront afro banger "Baka'nswazwi" is absolutely irresistible, with contaminous tribal-esque percussive rhythms laying the foundation for inebriant keys and chords. On remix duty are Benny T, Benga Boys, Kristofar and Ronnie all adding their distinctive deep/afro touch - the choice between these equally massive interpretations is yours...
