DaSouL & Fabry Diglio featuring Joe Flame - Broken love DaSouL and Fabry Diglio team up with singer Joe Flame to follow up their phenomenal "Neapolis Jazz EP" with another sure fire winner titled "Broken love" which features outstanding vocals alongside a killer sax and glorious keys over an irresistibly thumpin' backdrop. The dub version and both mixes by Mad Boss are eclectic journeys into deep house territory, while Dom Navarra surprises us with an seminal soul-tech interpretation with an acoustic edge. The Dolls Combers drop an uplifting piano and organ driven version, while Demarkus Lewis contributes a classy mid 90's styled take.

Last year in September, Vick Lavender presented "Music is life", a masterly interpretation of the marvelous "Heaven" by BeBe & CeCe Winans released back in 1988, with the lyrics reworked and performed by Nicole Mitchell and Carlos Gallegos. Now the 'Black Gold' mixes by Vick Lavender and his incredible ensemble hit the street - not much needs to be said besides this is a musical gem oozing with the vintage sound Vick Lavender and his Sophisticado family are celebrated for.

Dolls Combers featuring Mario Inchausti "Brothers" (Jack 2 Jazz Records CD Promo)

What a debut release Jack 2 Jazz Records present with this production from Italy's Dolls Combers, featuring the unmistakable vocals of Mario Inchausti. The original version of "Brothers" is all about the organic funk drenched backing, silky chords and jazzy keys - and of course the outstanding vocals by Mario Inchausti. The remixes are courtesy of Vick Lavender who relaxes the vibe on his timeless jazz-funk infused 'All Soul' mixes, Jack 2 Jazz who add their signature jazz touch, and finally there is Mikie Sun's big room mix. One not to be missed.

BlackJack featuring Frances Mary "On fire" (Slapped Up Soul Records CD Promo)

BlackJack aka Daniel Nii Ankrah presents "On fire", an enternal production bringing back memories of early 90's UK soul in its original form with its warm chords and laidback backdrop, not to forget to mention Frances Mary's heartfelt vocals. The 'Broken Vox Remix' is a gorgeous broken beat flavored affair, while Flex takes us back in time on his appropriately titled 'Old School Mix'. Last but not least, Circle of Funk grace us with their delightful version featuring adorable melodies over a smooth truly soulful backing.

Sonny Fodera featuring Bru Fave & Ron E "Lose myself" (SHE Records CD Promo)

Sonny Fodera teams up with Bru Fave and Ron E for "Lose myself", a sublime production on a soulful tip featuring sensitive vocals and melodious keys over a smoothly stompin' funk drenched backing on the 'Classic Mix', while The 'Deep Mix' takes the track to deeper grounds, with a pulsating groove leading the way for lush keys and the vocals. On remix duty we have DJ Jori and Tikki Tembo, both keeping the vibe soulful and funky while injecting their distinctive touch to the track.

Previously this masterpiece by Jonny Montana and Craig Stewart which features amazing deeply felt vocals by Sofia Rubina was available on vinyl only, now at last the digital release hits the online stores, complete with fresh remixes: Shane D serves a funk soaked peak time favorite, Distant People contribute a deliciously deep interpretation oozing with luscious melodies, U-Ness & Jedset give the track an uplifting summery feel, Pete Dafeet goes deep'n'groovy on his take and lastly Doobie J & Rob Capewell deliver a classic rework.

Alex Garcia featuring Brooke Russell "You are my joy" (TriCircle Records CD Promo)

Italian DJ/producer Alex Garcia joins forces with vocalist Brooke Russell for his debut release "You are my joy", a powerful yet soulful production featuring passionate vocals and wicked keys over a fiercely stompin' backing. Feet rework the track into a laidback old-skool jazz-funk flavored groover, while Park Street's remix is a relentless funktified affair perfect for prime time action. Piers Kirwan adds a lovely deep tech-soul vibe to the track, while Mark Di Meo's remix is on a classic funk oozing tip.
