Kenny Carpenter & Cinnamon Brown "2 sides" (KC Recordings Promo)

Legendary DJ/producer Kenny Carpenter returns with the second release on his label KC Recordings, the truly glorious "2 sides" featuring the unique haunting vocals of Cinnamon Brown alongside exquisite keys, celestial chords and a smooth yet relentlessly thumpin' backdrop. The alternate 'Silver Dollar Mix' laced with grand jazzed-up keys, wicked guitar riffs and classy saxophone gives the track a contaminous organic feel. Essential.

Pat Bedeau featuring Sofia Rubina "You & me" (TR Records Promo)

From DJ/producer Pat Bedeau and songstress Sofia Rubina comes "You & me", a truly dazzling soulful gem fusing the incomparable passionate vocals of Sofia Rubina with sublime keys, ethereal chords, vintage organ and an inexorably groovin' organic backing. The 'Dub Mix' gives the track a chunky verily hypnotic feel, and finally there is the instrumental version.

Terron Darby featuring Monday Michiru "Moments" (KingStreet Records Promo)

Miami born, New York City based Terron Darby and iconic Japanese/American vocalist Monday Michiru join forces for "Moments", a sun drenched uber soulful production that is all about the heavenly keys and chords, sweet guitars and dulcet organic backdrop, not to forget to mention the unmistakable emotive vocals of Monday Michiru. The fervid 'Cosmo Darby Revamp Mix' is a brilliant instrumental re-imagination of the song, and courtesy of Athens based DJ/producer Phaze Dee comes a super smooth'n'melidous afro influenced summery interpretation.

Jonny Montana and Dawn Williams "Smile" (Camio Recordings Promo)

Almost three years ago, Jonny Montana and Dawn Williams truly blessed us with the incredible "Amazing", now they return with the phantasmagorical "Smile". To make it short, "Smile" is guaranteed to cast a spell on you through the inimitable deep-rooted vocals of Dawn Williams, the keyboard wizardry of Bennett Holland and the gentle yet infectious organic backdrop featuring a phat live bass by Jim Demery. The 'Classic House Pass' turns the heat up and gives the song a gorgeous classic touch.

Soulato featuring Alma Faye Brooks "You can count on me" (Paradax Records Promo)

Paradax Records are back on Spirit of House with the marvelous "You can count on me" by Soulato and songstress Alma Fay Brooks (remember her Disco classic "It's over" from 1979?), a wonderful soul/funk infused old school styled track that is all about the unmatched heartfelt vocals of Alma Fay Brooks. The remixes are courtesy of Aaron Arce and Jesse Outlaw both adding their magical touch, keeping the vibe soulful yet compelling.

Afro House Pick: Afrobrotherz "Drumsoul Music EP" (Afrocentric Records Promo)

Recently launched Afrocentric Records present their second release, the massive "Drumsoul Music EP" by Afrobrotherz (aka DJ Click DrumSoul and DJ Mohamed) from South Africa. The EP is loaded with three absolutely fabulous tracks showcasing the unique raw and cinematic underground-esque afro house sound of the Afrobrotherz full of enchanting melodies and mesmerizing rhythms.

Traxx Pick #1: Sunlightsquare "Above the sun" (Sunlightsquare Records Promo)

Hot on the heels of "Oyelo" comes the next stand-out single release by Sunlightsquare (Claudio Passavanti), the magnificent verily spiritual "Above the sun". First up, South Africa's Blaqtone serves a beautiful sun drenched interpretation full of dreamy melodies and earthy afrotastic rhythms. Next up, Kay Suzuki drops a classic deep house rendition with his ' Moon Mix' and a dubbed out psychedelic mix with the 'Astro Dub'.

Traxx Pick #2: Anthony K. "Three chords deepness" (NiteGrooves CD Promo)

Greek DJ/producer Anthony K (Antonios Kavadatos) graced us with "Three chords deepness", a scintillating nu-jazz infused instrumental production guaranteed to send the dance floor into a frenzy. The 'Rhythm Inside Mix' gives the track a deeper late night feel, and lastly the 'Black Ivory Mix' transforms the track into a hypnotizing slice of afro house bliss.
