Back in 2021, singer and songwriter Brittany Turnipseed (a native of Columbia, South Carolina) self released the amazing "The Intro: Focused" EP which includes the wonderful "Right here". Fast forward to today, and we are graced with a glamorous soulful house interpretation of "Right here" by DJ Oji which combines Brittany Turnipseed's inimitable emotive vocals with enticing keys and a smooth yet thrilling organic backdrop. Essential.

Wamptronica "Just is..." (Poly-Groove Records Promo)

Up-and-coming electronic dance music group Wamptronica are back on Spirit of House with "Just is...", their third release for 2024. Classic Pick: Frankie Knuckles featuring Adeva "Love can change it" / "Walkin'" (Virgin Records 12", 1995)

This US 12" release features downright massive remixes of "Love can change it" and "Walkin'" both featuring legendary house music singer Adeva (the original versions can be found on Frankie Knuckles 1995 album "Welcome to the real world").  "Love can change it" got remixed by Danny Tenaglia while "Walkin'" (also featuring Ricky Dillard's New Generation Chorale) got remixed by Grant Nelson.
