Andy Holder featuring Carl Stanley & Lone Catalysts "Uncivilised people" (Nuwavonic Records CD Promo)
In fall of 2006, Nuwavonic Records took dance floor by storm with their inaugural release "Uncivilised people", now this wicked track by Andy Holder which features fabulous saxophone and rhodes solos by jazz musician Carl Stanley alongside spoken word vocals by J. Sands (of the Lone Catalysts) returns in fresh interpretations by Ed Melconian (aka Undertone & DJ $ki) who gives the track a resistless bumpin' feel and Andy Holder himself whose 'Mid Central City' mixes are on a fervid old school tip. Also included are a remastered version of the original version and the Carl Stanley's 'Spirit Mix' from the 2006 release.
Eman & Doc Link "Would you flaunt it" (Liberate Recordings CD Promo)
Turn the clock back to 2001, and everybody was dancing to "It's yours" by Jon Cutler, a track that features the unmistakable spoken word poetry by Eman. Fast forward to 2014, and Doc Link together with Eman revisits the vocal that catapulted Eman to the top of house music artists. Eman re-cuts his vocal to a slower more deliberate delivery that perfectly harmonizes with Doc Link's signature funked-up relentlessly pulsating rhythms, grand jazzy keys, sweet guitar and delightful vocal ad-libs.
Rescue Poetix & Doc Link "Carrier" (Liberate Recordings CD Promo)
Liberate Recordings truly grace us this week as they unleashed not only one but two soulful gems. Besides above reviewed magnificent "Would you flaunt it" by Eman & Doc Link, they present the superb "Carrier" a collaboration by Doc Link with spoken word artist Rescue Poetix. Ruthlessly thumpin' rhythms lead the way for Rescue Poetix' one-of-a-kind poetry and enchanting melodies, altogether spreading a captivating feel you can't resist to dance to. The 'Alternate Mix' gives the track a darker even more intense feel.
Max Marinacci featuring Hazel "Superlove" (Double Cheese Records CD Promo)
Double Cheese Records continue their success streak with the exotic "Superlove" by up and rising Max Marinacci, a sexy deep house production featuring the sensual vocal stylings by songstress Hazel alongside inebriant keys and chords over deeply pulsating truly irresistible rhythms. On remix duty are N'Dinga Gaba who delivers a deeper than deep truly hypnotizing afro-tech rework, and by Max Marinacci himself who teams up with label head Luyo for an inexorable stompin' workout laced with enthralling keys.

Here we have something a little bit different from the usual outings on Double Cheese Records. Label head Luyo presents "Dissolution", a track with a lot of crossover/pop potential as Nikki Saletta's sultry vocals together with catchy melodies and a fierce funked-up backdrop create an enticing summery vibe. The remix is courtesy of J&M Brothers & Vicmoren who give the track a glamorous contemporary funk soaked Nu Disco feel.

Summer is here, so is this gorgeous production by Alfred Azzetto and Carlos Vargas. The sun drenched "Danco balanco" features the seductive vocals of Nicinha alongside warm sublime keys by Vincent Valler and sweet guitars over a smooth yet infectiously bouncin' funked-up backing. DJ Fopp & Paolo Visnadi give the track a much funkier feel on their remix reminiscent of the Patrice Rushen all-time classic "Haven't you heard" - beyond the shadow of a doubt, this remix will set the floor on fire...

First up Spellband and Jacko take on "Love & sex (part 2)" by Joe featuring Kelly Rowland, next Spellband rework Ledisi's "Rock with you", following is a selection of of makeovers of Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake's "Love never felt so good" by the likes of Alex Mattei & Soul'n'Vibes, Nassau and DJ Fudge. We are not done yet as we have Alex Mattei & Soul'n'Vibes rework of Alicia Keys "It's on again", and finally Manousos takes on "What I feel/Issues" by R. Kelly. Common to all of these remixes and edits is that they stay true and respectful to the original yet they give the songs a thrilling soulful four-to-the-floor feel.

We are getting so many promos sent each and every week that many of them never get reviewed here on Spirit of House (for various reasons nota bene).
