Rescue Poetix "T3" (Toupee Records Promo)

Back in September 2014, Toupee Records unleashed "Tap", a sure-fire dance floor bomb produced by DJ General Slam which features the inimitable spoken word poetry of the one and only Rescue Poetix, then end of 2015 stunning remixes by Young DJ, Tayo Wink, Frank Williams, D4 Deep Sounds, Nad and Tonic followed (aptly titled "T2: Tap 2"). This time around for the third installment "T3", DJ Erv and DJ Panther are the chosen ones to add their magical touch, indisputably both of them hit the mark with their merciless afrocentric interpretations guaranteed to cause a stir on the dance floor...

Three years ago, we were celebrating "Over & over" by James John, an amazing slice of soulful heaven featuring the incomparable sensual vocals of Deon Nathan that included bodacious remixes by Scott Wozniak and Suges. This gem now returns in brand new truly brilliant remixes by Kyle Kim who serves a verily smooth and soulful yet captivating interpretation oozing with lush keys and an irresistibly groovin' backdrop, and Roy Davis Jr. who delivers a fresh'n'funky re-imagination that is truly glamorous and sexy.

Luka featuring Mz Jay "Everyday" (We Go Deep Promo)

Courtesy of Anthony 'Luka' Kasirivu and Joyce 'Mz Jay' Friendrich comes "Everyday", a masterly crafted dreamy truly soulful gem that features the beautiful seductive vocals of Mz Jay and oozes with the unique deep house sound Luka is well-respected for. Vittorio Santorelli "Haven't you heard" (Mauritzio Remix)(Double Cheese Records Promo)

Vittorio Santorelli's mind-blowing re-imagination of Patrice Rushen's all-time classic "Haven't you heard"saw the light of the day back in May 2014 (complete with super remixes by Serg Szysz and Expanded People), then in April 2015 stellar remixes by Rightside and Max Marinacci followed. Now the track returns in a jaw-dropping rework by Mauritzio who combines the unmistakable vocals of Wendy Lewis with inexorably pulsating rhythms and verily inebriant synth melodies to create a no-nonsense dance floor bomb, beyond doubt this remix will set the dance floor on fire...

Max Doblhoff featuring Idd Aziz "Saba bo" (Remixes)(MoBlack Records Promo)

The magnificent "Saba bo" is taken from Max Doblhoff's album "Africa La" released in June of this year and features the incredible vocal stylings of Idd Aziz. MoBlack Records are about to release a dazzling remix package of this wonderful song, undoubtedly the likes of Astrea, Cosmo & Kramer, Floyd Lavine, Ksawa, M Caporale and Makossa & Megablast have been pulling out all the stops to grace us with a truly chameleonic selection of afro house remixes which are guaranteed to cast a spell on you.

DJ Art Cross presents "The Art Cross EP" (New Generation Records Promo)

Coming soon to renowned New Generation Records is "The Art Cross EP" loaded with two soulful up-tempo re-imaginations courtesy of DJ Art Cross of well known songs, namely "Settle for my love" by Patrice Rushen (from her 1979 long player "Pizzazz") and "Shame" by Tyrese (from his 2015 album "Black rose"), both of which are faithful to the original yet give the song a glorious uber soulful yet thrilling 4/4 feel sure to get your feet moving.

Rose Royce "Love don't live here anymore" (The Lea & Muzikman Edition Classic Mix)(Exemplary Music Makerz  Promo)

The Rose Royce all-time classic "Love don't live here anymore" (taken from their third studio album "Strikes again") which dates back to 1978 gets an ingenious four-to-the-floor re-imagination by Leanna Yip and Muzikman Edition that stays respectful and true to the original yet transforms the song into a soulful house music jewel, with intriguing percussive rhythms and heavenly synth melodies accompanying the unmatched vocals of Gwen Dickey. Montana, Stewart, Nortier & Kiki Kyte "Breathe" (The Remixes Part 1)(Wiggly Worm Records Promo)

The marvelously soulful and truly uplifting "Breathe" by soulful warriors Jonny Montana, Craig Stewart and Dale Nortier performed in grand style by disco/boogie/funk sensation Kiki Kyte returns in mind-boggling remixes by FabioLous Barker, Collective Souls, Babis Kotsanis and Bonna all adding their beloved distinctive touch, the result is a dope selection of interpretations ranging from contemporary boogie over classic house to peak time dance floor action. Also included in the package is the timeless original version.

JoioDJ featuring D'Bra Powell "Say yes, take my hands" (Dejavoo Records Promo)

Dejavoo Records are back on Spirit of House with "Say yes, take my hands", an energetic yet soulful production by JoioDJ featuring the splendid gospel tinged vocals of D'Bra Powell alongside exquisite jazzy keys, celestial chords and a relentlessly stompin' backing. On remix duty are Antonello Ferrari & Aldo Bergamasco, Eric House Device & Walterino and Ezio Centanni & Enea DJ all keeping the vibe soulful yet spell binding on their first-rate interpretations, giving you plenty of choices to work the dance floor.

Angelo Draetta, Tommie Cotton "I trust you" (Remixes)(Leda Music Promo)

The inspiring "I trust you" by Angelo Draetta, one of last year's summer anthems oozing with the incomparable powerhouse vocals of Tommie Cotton, returns in fresh remixes not to be missed. First up is Submantra with his funked-up soul infused rework of the original, second is the team of Funk Mediterraneo & Angelo Draetta with their fervid verily mesmerizing classic house inspired workout destined for prime time play.

Obas Nenor featuring Jenny Penkin "My intuition" (Defected Records Promo)

Israel's Obas Nenor makes his debut on Defected Records with the hypnotizing "My intuition", to cut right to the chase this wicked track using an extremely chunky somewhat moody yet truly compelling percussion enriched backing groove as foundation for tantalizing synth melodies and the enchanting haunting vocals of Jenny Penkin is pure fiyah...

Carl Hanaghan featuring Leanne Brown "Runaway" (Duffnote Records Promo)

"Runaway" by DJ/producer Carl Hanaghan is a vibrant verily sexy production built around an infectiously bouncin' backdrop, ethereal synth melodies and the gorgeous deeply felt vocals of Leanne Brown. The track is taken to the next level by Richard Earnshaw whose rendition laced with sublime jazzy keys, dreamy chords, sweet guitar and a fierce organic backing is truly uplifting.

Afro Traxx Pick: Max Marinacci featuring Alessandra Amo "The soul of the flute" (Unquantize Records Promo)

From Italian Afro house maestro Max Marinacci comes "The soul of the flute", a splendiferous jazz infused afro house production fueled with grandiose flute by Alessandra Amo, luxurious fender rhodes by Peter De Girolamo, precious vibes and utterly contaminous afrotastic rhythms you can't resist to dance to. DJ Spen's re-edit titled "The soul of the drums" which strips the track back to the drums is a very useful DJ tool.
