You might not have heard of Justin Stride before, but he has been around as part of Southern Divide (together with Phil Evans and Deli G) for quite some time now. With the "Deftonez EP" he presents three slammin' deep house tracks which go as deep as its gets, with "Chicago Dayz" having a ruthless tech-soul feel to it, while "Deeptrix" is a deeply rumblin' affair loaded with glorious melodies. Lastly there is the thumpin' "Deftonez" featuring exciting keys and chords. One for the deep house loverz.
Nathan Adams & Zepherin Saint "Holding on" (Tribe Records CD Promo)
It's hard to follow up a release such as "Circles" which became a timeless house music anthem within a few weeks time. With "Holding on", Nathan Adams and Zepherin Saint manage to live up to the expectations and release another sure shot winner featuring haunting synths and classy horns over a smooth percussive groove, not to forget to mention the passionate vocals by Nathan Adams. Timmy Regisford and Adam Rios contribute the remixes which keep it soulful while intensifying the vibe with their ruthless New York touch.
3 Amigos featuring Dawn Tallman "We are one (love, faith & trust)" Jellybean Soul Records CD Promo)
3 Amigos are Jellybean, Marlon D and George Mena who team up with house music diva Dawn Tallman to present the inspiring "We are one (love, faith & trust)", a captivating anthem fueled with delicious keys and uplifting gospel tinged vocals by Dawn Tallman over a fiercely stormin' yet soulful groove. Temple Movement (Ruben Toro & Adam Rios) inject the track with a deep organic feel that is absolutely relentless, while The Layabouts deepen the vibe to the max and turn the track into a mesmeric gem.
AtJazz featuring Sarah Jane Morris "Fantasy" (AtJazz Records CD Promo)
"Fantasy", our favorite track from AtJazz's "Full circle" album finally gets a full single release, including a sick remix by Ezel that is not to be missed, combining the heartfelt vocals of Sarah Jane Morris with a deep contaminous musical backdrop. Domu gets broken beat on his interpretation, while Maddslinky serves a UK garage bassline driven bumper. Finally the 'Rah Band Remix' is a truly deep and atmospheric version on a slightly tougher edge that is simply irresistible.
K-Motion "Ghetto romance" (Sounds of the Booth Records CD Promo)
"Ghetto romance" by K-Motion is an uplifting production featuring a killer organ, cool male vocals and lush chords over a funk drenched, deep yet groovy backing. Azee delivers the remixes, going deep and hypnotic on his thumpin' tech-soul rework loaded with dramatic synths and a wicked organ ride, with his dub stripping the organ for an even more intense feel.
Soul Food featuring Deby "How will I" (Nu Deep Music Records CD Promo)
Italy's Soulfood (Franco Martinelli and Massimo Sottini) come correct with the powerful yet smooth production titled "How will I" which is built around a fiercely stompin', funk soaked backdrop and features soulful vocals by Deborah 'Deby' Quattrini alongside jazzy keys and classy chords. The 'Pacific Princess Mix' is a marvelous alternate version that somewhat relaxes the vibe, while the beatless 'Lounge Mix' is a dreamy affair. The remix is courtesy of Mr. Fuzz (Fred Faupin) who turns the track into a dark moody affair.
Various "Gratitude EP" (SofiTone Records CD Promo)
Here we have lovely three track release full of deep house deepness. Patrick Green's groovy "Persuasion" is deep and soulful yet infectious featuring a wonderful flute solo along warm synth melodies, jazzy piano and sweet percussion. The other two tracks are courtesy of Didier Vanelli, with "Gratitude" being a deep yet smooth percussive driven stomper on a dreamy edge created by jazzy keys and spaced-out synths, while the more laidback "Resurection" keeps the vibe deep, featuring a beautiful flute and melodious synths over a funk oozing, percussive backing.
Marim "Rio Pinturas House" (Cabana Records CD Promo)
Italian producer Marim (aka Matteo Maria) presents a slice of dope deepness with "Rio Pinturas House", a rather minimalistic track creating a hypnotic feel through the contaminous drums and percussion elements. Justin Imperiale's mesmerizing 'Afro Melodic Remix' flips the track into a resistless afro-tribal groover featuring luscious keys and chords. The bonus track "So tropical" is a deep remorseless drum/percussion driven track featuring wicked keys and chords.
Fabio Tosti "Set Me Free EP" (Salted Music Records CD Promo)
The "Set Me Free EP" by Fabio Tosti is nothing groundbreaking, but sure as hell these tracks are perfect to send the dance floor into a frenzy with their relentless old school flavored feel. From deep and techy, to funky and deep melodic grooves, it all can be found on this five track release.
