|Probably the most played cut from Solid Ground's "2011 Miami Sampler" is about to get a full single release, with the mixes being split into two parts. Produced by Groove Assassin, "About love" features vocals written and performed by Kenny Bobien in his inimitable style, making this a phenomenal slice of soulful house sure to be a future classic. Beside the original vocal version, you get a deep dub by Groove Assassin, a melodious laidback interpretation by Louis Benedetti, two smooth yet infectious versions by Sean McCabe and something a little bit different by Voodoo Insomnia with their deep atmospheric workout.|

Some of you might remember the beautiful "Easy 2 love" by Leo Slayer which dates back to 1977. Fast forward to 2011, and we have a super smooth cover of this classic by Yohann Levems, featuring passionate vocals by Donna Hidalgo. Coming later this year with an extensive selection of remixes, available to us for an exclusive preview is the uplifting Seb Skalski remix oozing with a groovy funky orchestration and lush melodies.

Here we've got an exclusive remix by Cubanix (aka David Reyero) who takes on DJ Chang's "Yellow sun" originally released in 1997 on Swanky Records, giving the track a deep hypnotic touch using phat synth melodies and a stormin' percussive groove.This is the first remix in a series of more to come, with all profits going to Peace Boat through the Red Dot Fund for their humanitarian efforts in Japan (to be available online soon).

Exclusive Preview: Kem "Love never fails" (Luis Radio & Spellband Remix)(CD-R)
Kem, one of our favorite r&b/soul vocalists, gets the remix treatment by Luis Radio and Spellband who take on "Can you feel it" and "Love never fails", two standout songs from his 2010 album "Intimacy: Album III". Both of the songs are given a smooth four-to-the-floor makeover, staying true and respectful to the wonderful original versions while putting Kem's unmistakable vocals center stage.

DJN Project have been going from strength to strength in recent months, and they continue to impress with their latest project "Open your eyes" on which they team up with Eman. Here we've got something special, straight from the vaults of Shifted Music and hand picked by Jay-J. These unreleased remixes of "Love alive", the title track from Jay-J's debut artist album released in 2009, are courtesy of D’Flower, Eric Jadi, Frank Turgeon, Jazz N Funk and Kes, all adding their unique soulful yet summery touch to the track. These up and coming producers/DJ's are certainly to be watched.
