Here we have brand new mixes of Meisha Moore and DJ Christian's previously released collaboration titled "Brand new day". Nicole Simpkins is first to take on the track and its enticing vocals, delivering a wicked funky tribal thumper with a lush techy edge. Next is Dany Cohiba who turns up the heat for peak time play on his remorselessly stompin' funked-up remix. BlackJean & MarvinK contribute three versions - there is the deep 'Club Mix' laced with celestial synth melodies, the afrotastic 'Afro Mix' on a deep laidback tip and the utterly deep jazzed-out 'SoulDub Mix'. Carl Deep & X Squared keep the vibe deep and luscious on their mesmerizing afro-deep remix, as is David Moore on his somewhat moody interpretation.
Exclusive Preview: Sting "Englishman in New York" (Spellband Remix)(A&M Records CD-R)
The unforgettable "Englishman in New York" (which features Branford Marsalis playing superb sax backed by an orchestral string section), one of the standout songs from Sting's 1987 album "...Nothing like the Sun" and in our view one of his greatest songs, gets a marvelous respectful makeover by Spellband that takes to song to new heights, with a smoothly stompin' four-to-the-floor backing leading the way for Sting's unmistakable vocals and the original orchestration.

With "Hush hush", Multi Racial Records present an intriguing teaser from Sisco Umlambo's forthcoming solo album, featuring guest artists Zano and Keys Snow. We are proud to exclusively present to you these two reworkings by ToT aka Timmy Richardson. First up his his splendid up-tempo take on Jimmy Abney's (r.i.p.) "Hello" (from his incredible long player "Return to forever" released in 2008) that stays true to the essence of the original while nicely transforming it for the soulful house floors. Next is his thrilling remix of "I'm sorry" by Khalzido featuring Gugu (be released complete with remixes by Vick Lavender, Pirahnahead) featuring sensitive female vocals and grandiose keys and chords over a deeper than deep backing. Keep your eyes open for both of them, they should be available soon.

After previously being available only on various compilations, Malena's seductive single "No me digas nada" finally sees the light of the day. First up URH serve a deep'n'sexy slice of grooviness with their laidback organic vocal and dub mixes, followed by Franco De Mulero & Hector Romero who take you on a smooth and delicious yet infectious journey with their deeper than deep remixes. Finally, Tomo Inoue impresses with his varied production skills as he offers three very different mixes ranging from chill out to prime time.
Asai "Luv me better" (Mantree Records CD Promo)
What a return to Spirit of House for Rasmir with this fiery production oozing with his beloved inimitable sounds and rhythms. "Luv me better" is performed by Asai who impresses with her stunning voice which harmonizes perfectly with the jazzy keys and relentless funked-up backdrop, making this something truly special. The stripped-down percussion driven 'A Better Mix' puts the vocals center stage and adds a balearic guitar to give the track a sun drenched feeling.

Maruitzio returns to Cabana with "Mama kumba", a ruthless afro-funk production built around percussive tribal rhythms spiced with cool vocal chants, classy horns and phat keys.
