Jonny Montana and Stephanie Cooke collaborated in the past on masterpieces such as "One 4 me", "Love again" and "I owe U", and now for the debut release for UK based Soulfulbeats Records they team up again to present "Our love" - and what can we say, when these two come together, the result is always magic! Matt Hughes combines the deeply felt vocals by Stephanie Cooke with delectable keys and jazzy sax, all perfectly arranged over a deeply groovin' backdrop (vocal, instrumental and beatless 'Ambient Mix' available). Neil MacLean uses an infectious 80's flavored groove (think of "Specialize in love") as basis for the vocals and mesmeric keys, while Powdersoul deepens the vibe on his remix laced with cool keys and chords. Jonny Montana contributes groovy, jazz drenched vocal and dub mixes, and Soul Renegades (Craig Smith & Ricky Reid) complete the package with their deep melodious take.|

The uber cool "Lets funky" is taken from Christos Kedra's upcoming "Full Spectrum" long player, and what you get here are finest jazz-funk vibes. The lively 'Jammin Session Mix' is as funky as it gets, while the 'Broken Mix' pays tribute to old school breaks. Diesler adds a happy piano hook and discofied beats, while DJ Reeplee blesses us with a jazz-funk soaked four-to-the-floor thumper. Lastly, Simeon Belle contributes a delicious deep house workout with a funky twist.

Right in time for the upcoming summer, KingStreet presents uplifting remixes by Timmy Vegas who uses strings and horns together with an infectious Disco-Funk soaked groove to create sure fire dance floor winners. Next there is a killer dub by the team of Timmy Vegas and DeepCitySoul taking the track to deepest grounds, with moody keys creating a mesmeric feel you can't resist to dance to.

Three decades after the timeless "Body music" by the Strikers took dance floors all over the world by storm (lucky you who got the original 12" release on Cesaree Records), Souldynamic present a fresh interpretation with vocals by L.T. 'The Voice' Brown over a funky as hell, old skool flavored backing reminiscent of the original. Their 'Bigga Mix' gives the track a modern 4/4 twist, while Alfredo Azzetto, Davide Fiorese & Sisco and Mark Grant each add their unique touch.

Nightrhymes' "Keep on pushing" is energetic yet soulful, featuring captivating vocals by Tasita D'Mour alongside wicked synth hooks over a contaminous backdrop. Aaron Ross goes seriously deep on his remix, while Deep Josh's 'In The Lounge Remix' is a wonderful laidback acid-jazz rework. Also included are a main room remix by Justin Michael and an electronic version by Gabri Corona.
Aphreme "Underground Society EP" (Octave Moods Records CD Promo)
Beside producing timeless vocal productions, Aphreme also is a master of resistless deep house grooves as this EP proves. Each of the three included tracks takes you on a journey into old school tinged deep house, featuring gorgeous melodies created by lush chords, with some acid elements thrown in for good measure. Smooth Agent Records present the "Chicago EP 2", and as its predecessor this release features tracks from different producers, showcasing the different flavors of Chicago house. "A space" by Gene Hunt featuring D Griff is a s splendid conga driven late night thumper, while Sean Smith serves a slice of deep hypnotic tech-soul with "Left 4 dead". South of Roosevelt get raw and gritty on the deep "To be somebody", while "Colorflash" by Mel Hammond is a 135 bpm fusion of acid with soca - its unique and novel. Bai-ee teams up with Dirty Turk for the melodious yet laidback "Yeah yeah", with Bruce Ivery's Disco infused "OMDSMS" rounding the package off.
