Various "The New Breed EP" (POJI Records 12")
POJI Records keep it real with this extremly hot three track EP that kicks off with "My latin woman" by Sueno Soul featuring Gosando Music which they licensed from Newlite Records for this release. It is an uplifting latin house track with a bouncey groove, guitar and male spoken words creating an irresistible groove you can't resist dancing to. Next up is "People need people" by Pixel, a laidback production featuring soulful female vocals over a mellow groove with smoothly stompin' beats, topped with spacey keys giving the song a melodic vibe. DJ Pope & Jason Din team up as DenPo and deliver the magical "Oobaye oobaye", coming with african chants over a percussively bumpin' beat, added with jazzy keys and an organ line, creating an absolutely irresistible vibe.

Seal "Violet" (Scott Wozniak Remix)(Bootleg 12")
Scott Wozniak is blessing us with two hot interpretations of great songs. First he takes one of the finest moments by Sade: "Nothing can come between us". His interpretation keeps the magic of the original alive and gives it a subtle yet powerful outfit perfect for the dancefloor with killer keyboards and a fierce groove. While this is only available on CD-R at the moment, "Violet" by Seal is out on bootlegg 12" under the artist name Woz featuring Sea Lion. Like with the Sade song, Scott Wozniak keeps the vibe of the original alive and gives it a driving rework featuring a great instrumentation and lovely melodies.
Kemdi "Still a dancer" (Alix Alvarez Remix)(Coco Soul Records 12" Test Promo)
The recent Coco Soul gem gets a great rework from Alix Alvarez who adds a little more bump to this deep house groover. The vocal version keeps Kemdi's sweet and sexy vocal performance intact and comes with thicker beats, sultry organ and new keys. The 'Sole Channel Dub' is all about the deep groove, organ and subtle strings, stripping most of the vocals and giving it a true late nite feel.
Mena Keys featuring Frankie Estevez & Tabia "Forever and a day" (Jellybean Soul Records 12" Promo)
Frankie Estevez & George Mena are back with "Forever and a day" featuring the sweet and sexy voice of Tabia. It is an uplifting production based on a driving groove featuring wicked keys, smooth percussion and an outstanding vocal performance, not to forget to mention the jazzy flute. The dub comes with extra percussion and reduces the vocal to make place for the lovely jazzy flute and keys to grow. Also included are beats and acapella versions.
Physics featuring Teresa "Sunshine" (SubUrban Records 12")
Scandinavian production team Physics deliver a nice and lush late night gem here titled "Sunshine", featuring Teresa who provides the vocals over the warm and sunny groove that comes with slightly broken beats that are topped with great horns and stellar keyes. Nicky P is responsible for the remix with rotated drum patterns and some filters and looped horns, giving it more of a peak-hour appeal.
Julius Papp and D'Layna "Celebrate" (NeoDisco Records CD Promo)
After the previous success, D'Layna joins up with Julius Papp for another collaboration that brings out "Celebrate", an uplifting song with the vocal being full of positive vibes and the music being full of energy consisting of sweet sounding chords, nice horn riffs and funky bassline, the result having an old-school touch.
Rasmus Faber featuring Melo "Get over here" (Farplane Records 12")
Rasmus Faber brings us his latest offering on his own label, featuring Melo providing his soulful voice to the song. "Get over here" is based around funky horn stabs, funky bassline and latin-tingued percussion, together with melodic keys and soulful vocals. On the flip, he provides a remix on his own featuring a retooled bassline and additional piano line, with sligthly mellower beats. Axwell provides a guitar-laden remix which features electroish keys.
Groove Junkies featuring Indeya "Music's gotcha jumpin'" (MoreHouse Records CD Promo)
The Groove Junkies are back with a pumpin' yet soulful workout that features Indeya with her incredible voice. The 'Soul Excursion Mix' comes with classic disco-ish strings, saxophone and a funky guitar riff over the driving groove, spreading a feel-good vibe. The 'Main Room Madness Mix' heats things up, making the song perfect for peaktime play with a pumped up groove and replacing most of the vocals with the saxophone and guitar, and there are some great breaks thrown in as well.
DJ Spen & Thommy Davis "Voodoo ray" (CodeRed Records 12")
DJ Spen & Thommy Davis join forces to rework the timeless A Guy Called Gerald classic "Voodoo ray". The famous acidic keys sound as fresh as they did back in 1988 and are coupled with the familiar piano line and brand new spheric keys over a heavily stompin' groove with the bassline beefed to centerstage. Both vocal and instrumental versions are included as well as beats and acapella for the serious DJ.
Mr. Mike "Welcome to my House" (Zap Music Records CD)
Without any doubt, Mr. Mike is one of the most respected swiss house DJs. His radio show "Groovelift Live" allowed him to build a reputation all over the world. A couple of years ago he started his own label Map Dance that released a couple of hot dancefloors tracks in the past with more to follow in the future. "Welcome to my house" showcases Mr. Mike's current style. It features many tracks from his various DJ sets, giving the CD the CD the same unbelievable groove that people adore him for when he is playing in a club.
