In November of 2009, we gave you exclusive previews of the Brazilian Soul Crew, Andy Ward and John Mateo mixes of Michele McCain's "All I can do", now its time to bring you the Gene Leone remix of this magnificent song. He combines the fabulous vocals by Michele McCain with an organic and soulful yet funky percussive backing and amazing keys, with the result being simply outstanding !! Gene Leone's remix will be available in a variety of edits - you can listen to previews of all the currently available mixes here. El Prevost featuring Jannae "Choose you" (Stalwart Records CD Promo)
London based El Prevost (aka Lincoln Prevost) presents the celestial "Choose you" featuring sultry vocals by the one and only Jannae Jordan. The 'Main Mix' is deep and soulful yet groovy with phat keys accompanying the vocals. The 'Club Mix' is an electrofied affair perfect for the main room which is given a deep tech-soul makeover by DJ Rork. Wbeeza's minimal techy remix is deep and hypnotic, while Carl Michael's piano driven rather laidback interpretation is on a warm melodious tip.
Ruben Mancias featuring Michelle Weeks "My change (is gonna come)" (Part Two)(Devotion Records CD Promo)
Back in January of this year, we were blown away by Ruben Mancias' "My change (is gonna come)" and the enchanting gospel-ish vocals by Michelle Weeks, now history repeats itself as part two is a truly impressive remix package taking this song to the next level. Luis Radio & Raffa Scoccia bless us with a marvelous soul-funk oozing version, while Harlum Muziq (David Harness & Chris Lum) enter deepest grounds with their mesmerizing remix. MKTL (Master Kev & Tony Loreto) deliver a remorselessly thumpin' peak time anthem, while lastly Stuttering Munx turn the heat up with their energetic main room vibe.
Melchyor A & Keith Thompson "Is it the way" (Waking Monster Records CD Promo)
French deep house maestro Melchyor A teams up with legendary singer Keith Thompson for the deep yet soulful "Is it the way" featuring breath taking vocals and classy keys over a captivating backing. The remixes come from DJ Romain who injects the track with funky flavors and cool keys, Louie Gorbea & Chris Perez who turn out a smooth percussive workout, and Enrico Mantini and Paolo Barbato who both contribute relentless peak time favorites.
Groove Junkies featuring Indeya & Titus Fotso "Unified (as one)" (MoreHouse Records CD Promo)
The Groove Junkies' sun drenched "Unified (as one)" is taken from the forthcoming full length album "In the Zone" and features uplifting meaningful vocals by Indeya and Titus Fotso over afro-soca flavored rhythms that are enriched with exquisite keys and killer horns, altogether creating a contaminous feel good vibe. Solara and Evan Landes team up as S&E to drop the 'Motherland Dub', a ruthless afro-tribal affair you can't resist to dance to, and the 'Motherland Chant Mix' which breaks it down to the beats and African chants for an even more intense hypnotic feel. Soulfulbeats follow up their massive debut release "Our love" by Jonny Montana & Stephanie Cooke with the "A406 EP" by Matt Hughes, a release named after the journey to "The Lodge" in West London where the Soulfulbeats crew met and formed.
