"Somethings gotta give" is a marvelous production from New York/New Jersey production duo Chris Perez and Louie 'Lou' Gorbea, featuring dulcet vocals by Queen AaMinah. The original is laidback and soulful featuring melodious keys, with the 'Lou2Chris Mix' deepening the vibe while staying soulful. The remixes are courtesy of Demarkus 'Deez' Lewis who turns the heat up with a thumpin' backing and lush synths, while the Dolls Combers deliver a jazzed-up 4/4 vocal remix a deeply groovin' dub.

Vick Lavender featuring Nicole Mitchell "Need to know" (Sophisticado Records CD Promo)

Vick Lavender and Nicole Mitchell are in the process of completing an entire album of neo soul and r&b which will also include "Need to know". While we await the release of the album, we can enjoy the timeless house mixes of the song, and as usual Vick Lavender and his Sophisticado family bless us with sheer musical bliss. These masterly mixes are vintage Vick Lavender, with a funk soaked groove leading the way for the incredible vocals by Nicole Mitchell and outstanding jazzy keys by Vijay Tellis-Nayak.

Ezel featuring Tamarra Wellons "In my lifetime" (Remixes)(Ocha Records CD Promo)

Back in March we described the original mixes as "in one word this collaboration with the highly talented Tamara Wellons is amazing!!". Now the remixes of Ezel's "In my lifetime" are here, and again we have to use a superlative: visionary!! Both Osunlade and Deetron grace this masterly song with their magic touch, and with the original mixes also included in the package, this is a must have. Ezel's "Secreto" album will be released in the next couple of weeks.

Exclusive Preview: Michele McCain presents Marivent Soul "All I can do" (Praia de Ubatuba Fiesta Mix)(Marivent Music International CD-R)

We can't get enough of the magnificent "All I can do" by Marivent Soul and the fabulous vocals by Michele McCain, so we were truly delighted when this brand new version landed on our desk. The 'Praia de Ubatuba Fiesta Mix' is deep and laidback yet the luscious synth melodies, jazzy piano and latinesque percussive groove create a contaminous feel.

Ray Paxon "Mindreader EP" (Purple Music Records CD Promo)

Ray Paxon returns with the "Mindreader EP" featuring two productions. "Life is precious" is a stompin' peak time favorite featuring wicked keys and cool vocals by Marcia over a contagious backdrop, reworked by DJ Groove into a funk drenched affair featuring a lovely jazzy piano. "La musique te fait bouger" has a latinesque touch and features sexy french vocals by Alexandra Caroll over an infectious percussive groove.

Here we have an exclusive nugget courtesy of BKR aka DJ Benjamin (Benjamin Kristof Rakun) who presents his cool 'Balkan Mafia Mix' of "Find my way" by Andy Ward & Nica Brooke which is built around the sun drenched original version of the track, enriched with parts of the acapella from "Streets of the sun" by Andy Ward featuring Sofia Rubina.

Its a wonderful selection of the beloved delectable, organic jazzy sound of Jonny Montana & Craig Stewart.

Gianluca Pighi "Pigtylus" / "Mango parliament" (Mint Condition Records CD Promo)

Italian DJ and producer Gianluca Pighi launches the brand new Mint Condition label with a slammin' three track release. The sublime "Pigtylus" is a deep jazz fueled production full of somewhat psychedelic yet captivating keys, with the alternate groovey 'Session Mix' oozing with a lively bossa feel. "Mango parliament" is a fiery slice of Disco-House using a funk heavy backing as playground for hot guitar licks and killer keys and chords.

Hot on the heels of his "More Problems EP" (a Beatport exclusive), Johnny Dangerous presents "The Problem Continues Sampler".
