Neter Supreme blesses us not with one but two packages loaded with none less than twelve of his essential edits and re-splits. We won't even start to think about new superlatives for reviewing them, all we have to say that as with all the other packs from the past we are having a hard time picking out favorites as there is so much outstanding musicianship to be found in featured tracks, both from the artists and Neter Supreme himself - its all about the love for music and inspiration found through it. Artists which got the imitable Neter Supreme re-touch include Crystal Johnson, Deborah Bond, Mr. Timothy featuring Sharon Pass, Obenewa, KenySoulSinger, Teedra Moses, Rashaan Patterson, Whitney Houston and Shuya Okino. In July of this year, Black Vinyl Records released one of the best vocal productions of the year by Italian producer Mauritzio 'Old Bastard' Baiocchi who teams up with vocalist Orlando Levern Johnson on the sensational "Wanna be", a marvelous slice of soulful underground house. Now the remixes by label head Alan Russell are here, taking the track to the next level with wicked keys and live guitars by Garrick Gill which together with the old school styled funk soaked backdrop give the track a lively organic feel.

A while back, Deep City Soul (Matt Mckillop & Owen Taylor) joined forces with DJ Romain to record "NY 2 UK", a sure fire underground anthem built around a remorselessly thumpin backdrop, phat keys and uber cool vocals by DJ Romain. DeepCitySoul rework the track into a bumpin' affair laced with lush keys, while DJ Romain's fiery remix samples Carl Bean's legendary 1977 classic "I was born this way" to full effect.
