The feel good "Love take all of me" is a wonderful uplifting production built around infectious Disco/Funk infused rhythms, grand keys and Brian Christopher's beautiful emotive vocals, taken to the next level by Chicago legend Terry Hunter (with the help of 'Jigga James' and Mike Dunn) who contributes a heavenly interpretation oozing with his beloved timeless soulful touch. Without a doubt, Peng Africa has been one of our favorite labels over the last couple of years, every time they present a new release we know we can expect nothing but top-notch soulful house music. The label certainly lives up to our expectations with their latest offering "Uthando" by Bhabha Betasweet, a superb production featuring deeply rooted vocals by Lwazi alongside sublime melodious keys and lovely guitar over deep'n'smooth yet infectious organic rhythms. Back in 2003, Slaag Records released the marvelous "Spirit of the dance" by Carlos Sanchez, an uplifting production featuring the sweet soulful vocals of Lorenzo Tylor alongside luxurious keys, jazzy organ and beautiful flute solos over smooth yet spell binding rhythms. CyberJamz Records bring this gem (nowadays considered a house classic) back to the dance floor, with the release featuring the original vocal version and the previously unreleased instrumental version, both mixed by Sting International (Shaun Pizzonia), as well as a stellar remix by Kenny Carpenter who takes the song to the next level on his amazing rework combining the outstanding vocal with delectable keys and thrilling rhythms. |
