Back in early 2009, Reelgroove Records graced us with "Love on its way" by Lewis Ferrier, a soulful yet captivating production featuring the sultry vocals of Mavis Acquah alongside jazzy keys and lovely synth chords over a ruthlessly pounding backdrop. The package included stunning remixes by Morten Trust who injects old skool flavored funky vibes to intensify the vibe while keeping the overall feel soulful, and Dutchican Soul who takes the track to deeper utterly hypnotizing yet slightly dark grounds. Now this gorgeous soulful gem from a few years back gets a welcome re-release by Stimulated Soul Recordings including all the mixes from the original release, and there will be also a second part with fresh remixes from some of todays hottest talents following soon. |
