After releasing two well received singles, Brazilian duo Nu Azeite (aka Fabio Santanna and Bernardo Campos) will release their much anticipated self titled debut album beginning of next year. To make it short, this is a truly fantastic and versatile debut album which perfectly showcases the duo's unique sound, a cultured collision MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira) and house, funk and 80s disco with oodles of tropical percussion and jazzy riffs. Undeniably, this is an ingenious andmusically accomplished album that comes highly recommended.

Baltimore soulful house maestro DJ Pope joins forces with songstress Rona Rey for a towering four-to-the-floor remake of Def Leppard's 1981 hit "Bringin' on the heartbreak" (though you may be more familiar with Mariah Carey's 2002 cover version) by no means to be missed. Rona Ray's unrivaled emotive vocals truly shine on this expertly crafted verily soulful production featuring sumptuous keys and celestial chords overa smooth yet infectious organic backdrop . The cherry on top are the alternate mixes introducing gentle percussive rhythms and sublime keys to give the track a heavenly feel.
