Turn back the clock to 1990 when legendary Chicago based House Jam Records released the stunning "Outer limits" by Tikkle (aka Rick Lenoir and Larry Thompson), one of those classy instrumental tunes from the early days of house music that nowadays is considered a bona fide classic. This timeless track famous for the lovely piano, dreamy synths, cool acid squiggles and elegant rhythms returns in fresh re-imaginations by Rick Lenoir (with a little help from Spike Rebel on keys and Pete 'Ulysses' Johnson on saxophone) which stay true to the spirit of the original yet give the track a glorious contemporary feel.

After a short hiatus, Octave Moods are back on Spirit of House with the phantasmagorical "We are responsible" by Aphreme (Martin Mamzer), a truly enchanting journey to old school inspired deep house music. Unquestionably, "We are responsible" fueled with deep unadulterated rhythms, ethereal melodies and the paramount vocals of Joel Kibble (Take 6) will cast a spell on you. The 'Confession Remix' goes even deeper, stripping back on the vocals and introducing glamorous fender rhodes to give the track an entrancing late night feel.
