Hot on the heels of the recently released volume sixteen in the "Traxx from the Vatican" series, DJ Pope presents the mind-boggling full length album aptly titled "Traxx from the Vatican LP". Not less than eleven hand-picked tracks representing some of the series finest moments are included in this verily eclectic retrospective collection (with the oldest tracks dating back to 2006), most definitely this album perfectly showcases what the series is all about: sure-fire dance floor weapons guaranteed to send the dancers into a frenzy, always keeping the vibe soulful yet enthralling, with relentless rhythms leading the way for the masterly orchestration.

Los Charly's Orchestra is an exciting music project created by the two Venezuelans producers Juan Laya and Jorge Montiel renowned for its unique retro influenced yet modern style which blends the disco, funk and soul of the 70's from a latin perspective. Legendary John Morales (M+M Productions) adds his magical truly beloved old school inspired boogie-esque touch to their outstanding songs "History" (featuring Omar on vocals) and "Sunshine" (featuring Andre Espeut on vocals), beyond doubt his re-imaginations are absolutely breathtaking and guaranteed to send shivers down your spine.

One of the highlights of this year's ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) is without doubt this phenomenal highly limited sampler by Soul Sun Soul Music which includes several upcoming gems such as the long awaited and next to be released verily soulful yet haunting remix of "Black coffee" by Mikki Afflick featuring the inimitable seductive vocals of Georgia Cee (a former Pick of the Week here at Spirit of House) which is by no means to be missed.
