London based veteran DJ/producer Shaun Ashby makes his debut on UNKNOWN season with the fabulous "ToGetHer" EP that includes three soulful vocal productions all featuring the unmatched sultry vocals of AfroFaerie (aka Fae Simon). First up is "You and I" a magnificent soulful production laced with melancholic melodies and a spell binding organic backdrop. The track is remixed by Andy Vaz & Black M1d1 who deliver a downright hypnotic Detroit-ish deep minimal rework and House Violence who serves a vintage 80's Chicago house inspired remix. Next is "Take a journey" fueled with enchanting melodies and a smooth deeply groovin' musical backing, and finally there is the unique "Off the beaten track" oozing with inebriant galactical melodies and intriguing broken beat flavored rhythms.
