"Respect"was written by Otis Redding in 1965 and became a global hit and signature song for Aretha Franklin in 1967, then in 1988 Adeva changed its key and flipped it into a garage house classic. Now I-Robots and Kathy Brown pay homage to this classic with their eminent Paradise Garage inspired remake featuring a special guest appearance by Chicago legend Harry Dennis. The cherry on top are the awe-inspiring remixes by AtJazz who has been pulling out all the stops to grace us with a soulful and melodious yet downright mesmerizing late night rendition, and Alex Neri whose enticing rework oozes with majestic synths and enthralling deeply groovin' rhythms.
