Roberto de Carlo featuring Joshua "Magic star" (GoGo Music Records CD Promo)

A favorite with many DJs since the release of the original version on the GoGo Music's "Spring Collection 06" sampler, "Magic star" by uprising producer Roberto de Carlo gets a full 12" release including the soulful original version that features classic strings and has a funky touch it. Simon Grey adds two remixes, with the vocal version being a wonderful broken beat interpretation that highlights the marvellous vocals by Johsua and the jazz-funk instrumentation. His dub is a jazz-funk fueled four-to-the-floor masterpiece with an incredible breakdown in the middle. Completing the package is Dom Navarra (one half of Sueno Soul) with a smoothed down version that is on a laidback and spiritual latin vibe. All in all, this is a fantastic package not to be missed.

Ron Hall and The Muthafunkaz featuring Mark Evans "The way you love me" (Defected Records 2x12" / Ditigal Download)

Since the release of the original by Hustle Music about a year ago, this has been one of the most played vocal tunes. Then in march of this year, the Dimitri from Paris remix was unleashed to the world and took dancefloor in storm, coming completely re-done in a disco-soul style with strings and vibes from the legendary Vince Montana Jr., giving it a classic philly feeling. Now Defected have released an incredible remix package that includes even more great interpretations that stand up with its predecessors. Another legend has been called in to lay his hands on this future classic and he blesses us with a wonderful reworking: Tom Moulton takes the Dimitri from Paris remix and takes it to another level by changing a few bits here and there, while keeping the overall vibe alive. And with an instrumental also included, you can enjoy the musical bliss to the max. Sergio Flores gives it a tougher edge, providing to pumpy dub mixes for the bigger rooms, while David Penn gives it a groovy re-rerub. Digital downloads are available at Dancetracks Digital.

Hot on the heels of "The Phusion EP" by Soulbascis comes the next release for SoulTonic, this time a full vocal production. Jazz Sensation present "Anytime no more", a funked-up house track on a laidback tip with a jazzy edge that features sweet vocals by Philippa Hanna and a lovely guitar by Jon Last. The Jinks fire it up on their take, amplifying the funky ingredients of the track. Lastly thre is Euan Mitchell's reworking that is on a different vibe, turning the track into a deeply stormin' affair with thumpin' beats and magnificent keys, with the guitar adding a funky edge.

Exlusive Preview: Panevino featuring Charles Dockins "The best of me" (Demo CD-R)

Sandro Endrighetti and Renato Abate aka Panevino are two of the many house producers and DJ's emerging from Switzerland that are currently taking the world in storm. Hot from the studio is their current demo "The best of me" that features legendary producer Charles Dockins who provides an emotional and inspiring vocal over a fierce groove that is enriched with a funky bassline, classic strings and warm melodic keys. This powerful song is a guaranteed floor filler where it will be spreading an uplifting feeling.

Audiowhores featuring Alex Mills "A better place" (Tempogroove Records CD Promo)

Audiowhores are following up the successful premier release on their own Tempogroove Records with an equally hot production titled "A better place". Featuring a superb passionate vocal performance by Alex Mills, the track is spreading an uplifting feeling through the funktified and fiercely stormin' groove that is enriched with incredible keys. The dub is stripping most parts of the vocals, letting the harmonies take over the lead, generating an irresistible vibe perfect for peaktime play. The 'Unrelased Demo Mix' (will only be available in digital format) is on a more laidback vibe, featuring an organic instrumentation including lush keys, with the lovely guitar and phat bassline adding jazzy flavors to it.

Groove Junkies presets TC Moses "Devotion (Part 2)" (MoreHouse Records CD Promo)

If you thought part one was hot, wait until you hear the new mixes from part two courtesy of Timmy Vegas. There is a reason why both mixes include the term 'raw' in their name as they take you back in time to the birth of house when things were kept simple, using bangin' beats and minimal production. While his main mix uses the spoken word vocal, the dub replaces them with irresistible keys. The package also includes the previously unreleased 'Hookstramental' by the Groove Junkies, a laidback and soulful affair with jazzy horns and keys that is perfect for the smoother moments of the night. Finally there is the very useful 'Hands Up DJ Tool'.

Copyright "He is" (ToT Dark Mix)(CD-R)
Mr V featuring Miss Patty "Da bump" (TOT's Unknown Mix)(CD-R)

ToT aka The other Timmy continues to bless us with his lovely reworkings and mash-ups. The current Copyright smash "He is" that features Song Williamson on vocals is given a new backing music that is a bit on a darker and moody side with wicked keys, that together with the gospelish vocal create a hypnotic and irresistible feeling. On "Da bump", he combines the mixes from the vinyl into one to create the 'complete' story that was missing so far (remember that the dub features elements not found on the main version).

DJ Rocco "Something for the floor" (Map Dance Records CD Promo)

After bringing us the wonderful vocal productions "Friends" by Kid Massive featuring Tiger Lilly and "Do you feel me" by Doruk Ozlen featuring Beth Trollmann, Map Dance are in for a different treat with "Something for the floor" by DJ Rocco aka Smakdji Mourad. The 'Original Mix' is a minimalistic track with a techy edge created by elecontric keys, while the 'Dub Mix' is a more ambient affair thanks to the warm laminar keys. Lastly there is a percussion loaded bonus beats version.
