The wait is over!! One of the definite gospel house classics finally returns with fantastic remixes (available to a very few selected people only for quite some time). Originally released on Flatline Records back in 1999, the Holland Tunnel Project & James Perry produced "I shall not be moved" features an inspiring vocal by the one and only Kenny Bobien alongside incredible background vocals that give this song an incomparable uplifting feeling. The original is pure timeless New Jersey garage that is taken to new grounds by DJ Meme who gives it an irresistibly stompin' reworking that is beautifully orchestrated, with a reprise that will bring tears to your eyes. Brian Tappert provides a pumpin' edit of the original version alongside a relentless peak time dub with killer chords, while Soul Creation come up with a deeply thumpin' interpretation with resistless keys leading the ways for the unmistakable vocals. Their dub takes things even deeper, with hypnotic keys adding an underground touch.
 

Domenico Navarra featuring Monique Henry "So lonely" (Part Two)(GrooveLand Music Records CD Promo)

Part one of this release is a former "Pick of the Week" here at Spirit of House, and part two gets the same honors as these news mixes take "So lonely" to the next level. Whether it is Kings of Soul, Haldo or eDeep, what this package offers is blissful deep house reworkings, with Monique's heartfelt vocals shining on each and every interpretation. Whether it is the deeply thumpin' take by Kings of Soul, the deeply groovin' Haldo reworking or eDeep's funk spiced deeply rumblin' affair, there is no bad choice here. As a bonus, the full length version of the 'Original Mix' is included in the package.

Original Review October 15, 2006: "Brand new life" is produced by Blvd East (the duo of James Rivera and Christian Perez) and features a soulful and passionate vocal performance by Jenny Morrisson. It is is an inspiring song that comes in a variety of mixes, with the original being an uplifting affair built around a driving thumpin' groove that is topped with wicked keys. Blvd East smooth it down on their remix to give the song a more laidback feeling, while Fuzion (George Mena & Franke Estevez) deliver a groovy remix that lets the vocals shine alongside great keys.
 

Physics "It's all good" (Matthias Heilbronn Mixes)(Bargrooves Records CD Promo)

While we await the next Physics long player (to be released later this year on Seamless Records), we can enjoy another single lifted from the album, this time remixed by Matthias 'Matty' Heilbronn. He takes on "It's all good", delivering a deeply groovin', fierce reworking that beautifully combines techified chords with a jazzy piano, melodic keys and a passionate female vocal. The dub mixes power things up, with extra keys supporting the creation a hypnotic vibe that is perfect for peak time play.
 

Spencer Gray featuring Heather Johnson & Robert Owens "Pillow talk" (Asadi Rizvi Remix)(LoveSlap Records CD Promo)

In April of 2003, this lovely track produced by Spencer Gray (the collaboration between Marc-Alan Gray and Charles Spencer) had its original release, featuring a sultry vocal by Heather Johnson that gets accompanied by a sexy vocal courtesy of Robert Owens and lovely keys on this brand new smokin' remix by Asadi Rizvi that is on a deep yet laidback tip. The 'Asadinho Pillow Fight Dub' is a tougher affair, taking the track to electronic grounds.
 

DJ Hoffmana featuring Chica Loca "Cierto es" (Ospina Digital Records CD Promo)

Italian DJ and producer DJ Hoffmana serving a bangin' latin house track titled "Cierto es" featuring passionate vocals by Valentina Ferrari alongside a wicked piano. The original version is on a powerful tribalesque tip, while the 'Hard Love Mix' is starting of smooth before turning into a harder edged track. Davidson Ospina provides a laidback reworking, while Jordan Rivera provides a darker tribal reworking. Lastly Jon Parry serves a funkily stompin' reworking featuring a lovely saxophone.
 

Groove Invaderz "Jungle fever" (Barcoda Records CD Promo)

"Jungle fever" by the Groove Invaderz (aka Jay 'Vegas' Forrester and Daryl Hughes), the latest offering from Barcoda Records, is a fiercely stormin' afro house track spiced with catchy latin flavors that will bring uplifting summery vibes to the dance floor. Remixes included are courtesy of Danny J Lewis who delivers a chunky reworking, while Central Avenue relax things on their classic latin house flavored take that features a beautiful jazzy piano.
 

Replay "La musica" (TriCircle Records CD Promo)

TriCircle Records return with the first release of Swiss duo Replay for the label titled "La musica", a beautiful latin house production featuring sexy female vocal. The 'Club Mix' is a deeply thumpin' affair that gets turned into a serious afro-latin bumper in the 'Afro Mix', while DJ Circle is turning the track into a funk flavored peak time monster jam. Christian Hornbostel's reworking is built around a massive bassline groove, while Jr. Rex comes up with a more relaxed, funk flavored vocal remix.
