Hill St. Soul "Goodbye" (Movement Soul Re-Rub)(CD-R)
"Goodbye" is a wonderful r&b/soul ballad lifted from Hill St. Soul 2006 album "Soulidified" that has been reworked by Jihad Muhammad for the soulful house floors by adding a smooth yet captivating, percussion enriched backing that perfectly harmonizes with the sultry vocals and sweet original orchestration. Dos Almas featuring Jackie Ferretti "Surrender" (Plus Groove Records CD Promo)
Dos Almas return to Plus Groove with the wonderful "Surrender", a production featuring sultry vocals courtesy of Jackie Ferretti and slightly dark yet very melodic chords over a deep percussion enriched groove. Gene King's take is a groovy affair using a sweetened groove as base for melodic keys and organs, while Marco Marquez (one half of Dos Almas) turns and twists things around for a deep electro track. Lastly label head Nick Tolentino reworks the track into a deep tribal-ish affair which has a dark hypnotic feel to it.
D'Bra Powell "Half a heartbeat" (iMusic Underground Records CD Promo)
Behind "Half a heartbeat" is LooweeR who presents an outstanding production with a true old school touch featuring heartfelt, gospel styled vocals by D'bra Powell alongside a jazzy piano and lush chords over a deep yet smoothly stormin' backdrop, altogether spreading an irresistible feeling on the dance floor. This release is a prime example of what real underground house music is all about.
Abicah Soul Project "Lost Tapes Vol. 2" (Abicah Soul Records CD Promo)
If you like us missed Abicah Soul's "Temptation" and "Bila" the first time around on vinyl (it was released back in 2004), now there's the chance to add it to your collection as for the first time ever this two beauties are available in digital format. "Temptation" is a smooth affair featuring wicked atmospheric synth chords over a deeply thumpin' percussion enriched groove, with "Bila" keeping the vibe deep while roughing the groove somewhat and adding sweet jazzy flavors to the spacey snyths.
Stereo Mutants featuring Neve "Samson & Delilah" (Mutated Music Records CD Promo)
The Stereo Mutants team up with singer/songwriter Neve for "Samson & Delilah", a fusion of tribal-tinged Afro house with Latin featuring sweet vocals by Neve alongside a lovely guitar, classy horns and catchy synths over a stormin' groove. On the dub, they drops the Latin elements to give the track a deep dark feel. Remixes are courtesy of Ruben Alvarez who takes the track to the main floor with his electronic rework, while the Brazilian Soul Crew serves a jazz fueled interpretation on a deep laidback tip, with the dub spreading a moodier, deeper feel. Rounding off things are Dave Mayer and Jason Cheiron with their groovy rework that features lovely synth melodies over a deep yet smooth backdrop.
Cerrone "Tatoo woman" (Purple Music Records CD Promo)
"Tatoo woman" was originally released back in 1977 on Cerrone's "Africanism" release, now over 30 years later it gets revamped by Jamie Lewis. Featuring a mixture of female and male vocals, "Tatoo woman" is an irresistible affair built around a deeply stormin', soul-tech flavored groove, with the atmospheric electro-tinged keys giving the track a galactic touch. The 'Sex on the Beach' mixes relax the vibe, with a smooth funk drenched groove leading the way for warm melodic chords and old-school horns.

Filta Freqz (Simon Cortez and Marco Manrique) do it again!! They pull out all the stops and deliver a smokin' production on a slightly moody tip built around a deep, funk soaked groove that is absolutely resistless, with the female vocal hooks and chords added intensifying the vibe to the max. Play it and see the dance floor explode!
Phil Hooton vs Paul Robeson "The keys to Jerico" (Rapture Trax Records CD Promo)
Different from what you usually get to hear is the latest production from Phil Hooton titled "The keys to Jerico", an organic track featuring an outstanding trumpet solo by Peter Wraight alongside lush mesmerizing keys by Mark Gamble and out of this world vocals courtesy of Paul Robeson, all perfectly arranged over an infectious groove. Spellband "Isolator" (Tee Traxx Records CD Promo)
Tee Traxx is the brand new sub label from Tony Records that will lay its focus on the tracky side of things, covering a wide range of styles from deep over jazzy and funky to tech. The first release "Isolator" is courtesy of Italy's Spellband, bringing you a gem of resistless tech-soul that is saturated with funky elements and compelling synths. Tony Loreto & Jacko contribute an energetic remix to the package, using a hefty groove (check that resistless rumblin' bassline) as backing for phat key stabs and freaky vocal chants, altogether creating a hypnotic vibe.
