Various "Dreamgirls: Remixed" (Sony Records CD)

Currently only available through Walmart in the USA as part of a special DVD bundle, this CD features seven remixes of the original soundtrack, including one of the standout tunes from this years Winter Music Conference: the Blaze interpretation of "Family" performed by Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson, Beyoncé Knowles, Keith Robinson & Anika Noni Rose that is all about the outstanding vocals and beautiful chords arranged nicely over a smooth groove. Then there is "Move" performed by Jennifer Hudson, Beyoncé Knowles & Anika Noni Rose that is given an uplifting reworking with wicked keys over a fierce groove.
 

Ananda Project "Into the sunrise" / "Let love fly" / "Where the music takes you" (NiteGrooves Records CD Promo)

NiteGrooves follow up the slammin' Blaze mixes of "Fireworks" with the Frankie Feliciano reworkings of "Into the sunrise", the title track from Ananda Project's current longplayer. Frankie Feliciano takes the track to the deep house territory with a deeply rumblin' groove that is topped with melodic keys and lovely strings. Also included are the downtempo "Let love fly" that is perfect for chilling and "Where the music takes you", a laidback groover with a beautiful jazz-funky instrumentation.
 

Aquatique Records presents "Soulfully yours" (Parts One and Two)(Aquatique Records CD Promo)

Frederic Dinca (aka DJ Nemo aka Pashaa) presents a lovely two part release on Aquatique Records. The first part is titled "Little thingz" and features the smooth and silky voice Taisha Grant (the niece of Donna Summer) over a soulful and groovily thumpin' musical backrop. The 'Soulfully Yours Mix' smoothes things down to a sweet percussion enriched groove, while the 'Tribapella Bonus Dub' is a percussion driven, smooth tribal affair. The second part is titled "Sweet love" and features singer Aiardo who provides an inspirital r&b styled vocal performance over a smooth backing groove that is enriched with warm melodic keys, lovely guitars and sweet percussion. Beside the vocal and instrumental versions, there is the 'On the Rhodes Mix' which replaces the vocals with a wicked organ ride.
 

Monday Michiru "The right time" (KingStreet Records CD Promo)

Jephte Guillaume takes on Monday Michiru's "The right time" and turns it into a masterfully crafted musical journey into sweet and smooth house grooves on an afro-funk tip, flavored with lovely jazzy ingredients and featuring an inspirational vocal performance by Monday Michiru. The dub places the emphasis on the beats and drums, giving it a more groovy feeling.

Justin Michael featuring Jason Lent "Play house" (Swank Records CD Promo)

"Play house" is the first single taken from Justin Michael's upcoming debut artist album which is slated for a release in early july. "Play house" features the smooth and silky voice from Jason Lent over a soulful and very melodic backing groove. Blake Reary spices things up, adding balearic flavors to give it a summery vibe while Jon Cutler reworks it into a relentless tech-soul affair with wicked keys. Finally Kid Massive gives it a dirty electro interpretation.
 

Stereo Mutants "I love soul" (TriCircle Records CD Promo)

"I love soul" by the Stereo Mutants is a lovely deep house track which features wicked keys and sexy female vocals in its original form. Lots of remixes to choose from, with Danny Clark providing a mellow and laidback affair with a warm instrumentation, while Ruben Alvarez gives it an uplifting summery re-rub. The 'Treasure Room Piano Jazz Remix' by BK Duke from Diamonhouse transforms the track into jazz-flavored deep house affair, while Roed Svensk comes up with a groovy jazz-funky dub version. Two DJ tools - the 'Danny Clark Reprise' and 'Treasure Room Piano Pella' - round of the package.
 

FTL presents Char Delvaille "Love So Amazing" (Fuzion Records CD Promo)

FTL aka For The Love aka Jeremias Santiago present the uplifting "Love so amazing" which features a sensual vocal performance by Char Delvaille. The original version is a smoothly thumpin' affair featuring warm melodic keys and a jazzy piano, while Blvd East (Chris Perez & James Rivera) provide a deeper rendition with melodic keys leading the way for the vocals. Fuzion (George Mena & Franke Estevez) rework the track into a percussion enriched, deeply groovin' affair with wicked keys that create an intense vibe. Available exclusively through Traxsource.
 

Groove Invaderz featuring Nicole Tyler "Keep risin" (Parts 1 + 2)(DoubleShock Records CD Promo)

DoubleShock Records follow up the success of "Pressure" by Park Street with another massive release, this time by the Groove Invaderz featuring the sweet voice of Nicole Tyler. The release comes as a two part release, with the first part including the fierce, disco-flavored original version that is spreading a feel-good vibe. Also to be found on the first part are a more laidback, piano-driven reworking by Kid Massive and the irresistible uplifting remixes by Central Avenue that feature wicked keys and lovely funky ingredients. The second part holds the tougher mixes by Playmaker and Lil Devious that are destined for the bigger rooms, alongside the hypnotic underground-ish 'Big City Dog 6am Bumpin Dub'.

Deep 6 Syndicate (aka Ron Allen) follows up the successful "On and on" with "The Depth EP" that includes a remix of the afore mentioned.
