It has been two years since Tom Conrad blessed us with a vocal production, thankfully the wait is over and he is back with "Shine" featuring the one and only Carla Prather on vocals. We have to give this phenomenal soulful production having timeless written all over 12 out of 10 - Carla Prather's incomparable deeply felt vocals, the warm melodious keys and the smooth yet contaminous backdrop a sheer musical bliss. Not for forget to mention the stellar remixes by Vick Lavender who adds his superb soul/jazz/funk infused sound, Masaki Morii contributes an uplifting rendition laced with sublime keys over thrilling rhythms, and last but not least Dissident delivers a delightful laidback jazzy affair. |
