Since 1994, The Rurals have been perfecting a unique style of live elements melted with thumping electronic music from their countryside haven (Devonshire, England). In just under twenty years, The Rurals have released over 80 EP's and 12 albums on their self-owned label Peng, and they've also worked with other labels such as Naked Music or Large Records to name just a few. Not to forget to mention they've also remixed other artists such as Eddie Matos, Harley & Muscle or Ananda Project. Now with "Life on the B Side" they present something truly special, a collection of rarities and previously unreleased songs which lets us further explore the breadth of the deep house sound The Rurals are famous for.

In 2003, Blaze launched their Underground Dance Artists United For Life project (a collective of the creme de la creme of  house music artists) in support of the LIFEbeat awareness and prevention organization. The first release was the paramount "Be yourself" which features inspirational lead vocals by legendary Joi Cardwell - today the song is considered an all-time house music classic.
