Exclusive Preview: Anto Vitale "Theorema del Faya" (Vocal Mixes)(Tea Party Music Records CD Promo)
The vocal versions are finally here, taking this inspirational track to the next level. The 'Original Vocal' of this afro-carribean flavored production enhances the laidback vibes of the wonderful instrumentation with a sweet and soulful male vocal by Alex Senna. Ian Friday's 'Tea Party Vocal' is a magnificent interpretation that turns the track into a steadily groovin' affair, with wicked keys accompanying the anthemic vocal. The 12" vinyl will include the vocal versions, while the instrumental will only be available as digital download.

DJ Pit "Jazz & Soulful" (SunPalm Records CD Promo)
After releasing two splendid vocal house productions, DJ PIT (aka Christophe Moudenc) teams up with the Lords of Soul for a lovely four track EP. Kicking off is "I'll make you jazz" which combines live played jazz instruments with a smooth house beat and vocals by NDinga and Nathalie Andre, with the result being a brilliant jazz house track. "Before" is a beautiful jazz drenched deep house groove featuring a sensual female vocal and great keys. Both "Sweet lady" and "Baby I need you" are on a laidback deep house tip and feature soulful male vocals alongside lovely rhodes and organs.
Exclusive Preview: Kuningas "Jupiter" (CD-R)
The Greece duo that goes by the name of Kuningas presented us their beautiful "Hold me" just a couple of weeks ago, and since then we've been sitting on another track titled "Jupiter" (and yet another one just came in a few days ago). "Jupiter" is a deep house track built around heavily thumpin' beats and features melodic chords and spaced out keys that give this track an athmosperhic afterhorus vibe perfect for late night play.

Gladly more of Rasmir Mantree's productions see the light of the day as they become available as digital downloads at Afrodesia MP3 and Stompy. The latest offering includes "I need a man" by The Max, a tribal-ish, percussion driven track that features sensual vocals courtesy of A Girl Called Max and warm keys. Beside the 'Open House Mix' (previously reviewed here at Spirit of House in March 2007), there are two new mixes available: the 'Mama I need a Mix' and a very useful percapella version. Next is "Decisions" by Just, a deeply thumpin' percussion enriched production featuring sweet male vocals by Just alongside catchy keys.
SuSu Bobien "Set free" (Remixes)(SoundMen on Wax Records CD Promo)
"Set free" is taken from SuSu Bobien's forthcoming album (which will include both new and previous released tracks that have been remixed and remastered). "Set free" is pure gospel house by diva SuSu Bobien that showcases her vocal capabilities, with lots of different interpretations to choose from by the likes of Alex Dimitri & Dieghito, (previously reviewed here at Spirit of House), Luv City, Takaya Nagase, Ron Carroll, Sean McCabe & Deli G and DSF. All the mixes pay tribute to the wonderful and inspirational vocals while adding their unique touch and flavors.
Mister O "Get it on" (Swank Records CD Promo)
Swank Records come up with a lovely production by Mister O titled "Get it on" which ist lifted from his upcoming artist album planned to be released in fall 2007. "Get it on" features a sultry female vocal, being arranged over a deeply and smooth backing groove in its original version. Finna strengthens the beats on his funkily groovin' dub, while Mister O himself is responsible for the 'Electrolate Mix', a deep'n'electrofied reworking. Lastly there is Ronan who delivers a hypnotic reworking feauturing wicked synth lines.
The Layabouts featuring Jay Henry "Be yourself" (Part 2)(Healthy Records CD Promo)
Hot on the heels of the Colonal Abrams single "Never be" comes part two of of last summers "Be yourself" which features a passionate vocal performance by Jay Henry. Word of Mouth (aka Graham Lord, one half of Audiowhores) comes up with a lovely reworking based around a bumpin' groove and featuring lovely chords, with the dub taking things deeper with its wonderful athmospheric synths. The Layabouts themselves come up with a cheeky electro inflluenced reworking that will take big rooms by storm.
Matteo Ionescu featuring Brent St.Clair "Stand up" (MapDance Records CD Promo)
In july 2006, we could bring you an exclusive preview of this release which is now ready for a release in a few weeks. "Stand up" is a stormin' track featuring an emotional vocal performance by Brent St. Clair over a deeply pounding groove that is enriched with a funked-up,bubblin' bassline and harmonic keys, featuring cleverly inserted breaks and build-ups. Central Avenue's reworking turns the track into a funk drenched feel-good thumper with catchy keys that together with the vocals create an uplifting feeling. Dario Dattis comes up with an uplifting dub full of funky flavors guaranteed to rock any dancefloor.
Monte Hilleman "Walk with the wind" (Vino Records CD Promo)
At the beginning of this year, Monte Hilleman was surprising us with an exclusive preview of his forthcoming release that is a departing from the soul drenched productions by turning out an electro house stomper that features a preacher man vocal and lovely strings over an electrofied beat that keeps groovin' and groovin' from the beginning to the end. Now the full package is hear, adding an instrumental and dub version as well as the 'Rhodes Dub' which replaces the electrofied keys with a lovely organ that gives the track a soulful feeling.
SUMO featuring Ayesha "That's erotic" / "Gravity" (HEYA Hifi CD Promo)
SUMO continue to explore new grounds with their latest release that will be a surprise to many. "That's erotic" is on a midtempo tip, featuring old-school beats and percussion alongside electrofied keys and a sexy female vocal courtesy of Ayesha. "Gravity" is on an uptempo tip, keeping the beats dirty and keys on a techy level, while Ayesha adds the sexiness to the track with her vocals. Both tracks are featured in vocal and dub versions, inviting you to play around with them.
