Idan K "Ache" (Kiss That Ass Recorsd CD Promo)

"Ache" by Idan K features vocals by Amir Pinto and comes in a variety of mixes. The 'Oiringal Mix' is a delicious midtempo afro-funk groover that features a hypnotic groove. The 'United Drums Mix' is a tribal affair focusing on the drums and percusison. The remixes are courtesy of KTA (Ziv Shalit) who speed the track up. The 'Houze Mix' is a fired up affair coming with a smoothly stompin' groove and chunky guitars, while the 'Zulu Mix' goes for a broken beat styled afro-funk groove.

Franck Roger "Collection of Moods Part 2" (Real Tone Records 12")

The parisian house wizzard that goes by the name of Franck Roger drops part two in the "Collection of Moods" series, a three track EP that sees him concentrate on delivering bangin' deep house with an organic edge that is guaranteed to rock the dancefloors.

Abicah Soul Project "Nakungi (Sequel to Diablo)" (Jellybean Soul Records 12")

"Nakungi" by the Abicah Soul Project is a smooth tribal house track with a slight afro flavor, featuring rhythmic percussion alongslide soaring synths and techy keys all combined in a way that the result is guaranteed to create an irresistible and hypnotic vibe on the dancefloor.

Byron Stingily "Hate won't change me" (Un-Restricted  Access Records 12")

Quentin Harris teams up with the legendary Byron Stingily for the anthemic "Hate won't change me". Byron Stingily provides a passionate vocal performance over a heavily pounding backing groove that comes complete with various layers of keys and strings that give the track the trademark Quentin Harris sound.

Quentin Harris featuring Carla Prather "No more love" (Jellybean Soul Records 12")

Quentin Harris must be considered one of the hottest producers and remixers around at the moment - just take his "No more love" as prove. Carla Prather is the featured vocalist who provides a soulful and emotional vocal over a fiercely stompin' groove that is enriched with a jazzy piano line and wicked keys. The 'Groove Mix' is an instrumental version that lets the piano speak while the 'Dub Mix' is a tougher affair with a Detroit-ish edge.

Steal Vybe featuring Chris Dockins "My soul cries out" (SpaceKat Records 12")

For "My soul cries out", Steal Vybe team up with Chris Dockins who provides a sensitive vocal performance over a deep backing groove that is on a soulful tip with a raw edge.Warm harmonic keys support the vocals in creating a laidback vibe.

Joillet "Rise" (Louis Benedetti Mixes)(SoulShine Records 12")

The original version was released about a year ago as part of the "Soulshine Sampler 2005 EP", now Louis Benedetti gives the track a splenid reworking that takes the track to the dancefloor. The incredible vocal performance by Joillet is layed over a smoothly thumpin' house groove that is enriched with electric guitar, funky bassline and fender rhodes that give the song an uplifting feeling.

Tweet "Taxi" (Nicky P & FTL Remix)(FallOut Records 12")

Nicky P teams up with FTL (Jeremias Santiago) who provides the keys for this interpretation of Tweet's "Taxi", giving the song a groovy outfit that uses a smoothly thumpin' groove and laminar keys together with sweet percussion and a wicked organ solo to create a relaxing vibe.

Raheem Da Vaughn "Belive" (DFA Remix)(FallOut Records 12")

Darryl James & Fred McFarlane aka DFA with another hot reworking of a beautiful r&b song that is driven by a deeply stormin' groove that gets topped with the wonderful vocal from the original, smooth percussion and warm melodic keys that give the track a laidback feeling.

DJ Gregory "S2" (FayaCombo Records 12")

It has been quite around the Faya Combo imprint for a long time, but with "S2", DJ Gregory returns in a strong way. "S2" is a driving track that is built around a storming groove that gets topped with acidic tones and various layers of electronic keys that give the track a hypnotic feeling.
