Defected Records licensed the tune that will be this years summer hit: "Zookey" by Yves La Rock, currently out on Yellow Records. Watch out for new remixes of this massive tune by Hardsoul and Bobby Blanco & Miki Moto.

Joe Claussell's "Mafungo" is out now as US release under the artist name The Bayara Citizens on Sacred Rhythm Music Records, featuring additional versions. Still, "Maringa" is only available as Japan import.

Ralf Gum just finished his mixes of "I just wanna be" by Jay Sinister & Victory Brooks, to be releasedon Atal Music Reocrds. Also he is currently in the studio working on mixes of "What is he and what is he to you" for Shaun Escoffery, to be released on Oyster Music. Menawhile Roberto de Carlo finished remixing "Beautiful" by Toni Sea & Ralf Gum that will be released by GoGo Music Records in September.

MAESTRO, directed by  Josell Ramos, the documentary that explores the roots of the Underground Dance Music Culture, has been released on DVD and accompanying CD in the USA. Check here for more details.

On July 29, Josef Saddler, a very talented artist and close friend of mine, passed away. He has been the featured vocalist on many timeless productions including "Sun goddess" by 95 North, "America at war" by DJ Pope featuring Voices of Freedom and most recently on "Love made for two" by Santos, to just name a few. May he rest in peace and condolences to his loved ones.

In addition to the US CD release that just includes the Danny Krivit nonstop mix , the japanese release includes a bonus unmixed CD featruing exclusive Danny Krivit re-edits.

KingStreet Records just released the Kiko Navarro remixes of "Spread love" by Byron Stingily on 12", previously only available on the japanese "Keep Hope Alive Revisited" CD release.
