The latest installment in the highly acclaimed "House Masters" series looks at the illustrious career and awe-inspiring musical legacy of Chicago legend Mike Dunn who has been blessing us with his ingenious and seminal releases for over thirty years. This excellent and truly eclectic forty track collection features classics tracks such as his earliest releases "Dance you mutha" and "So let it be houze" alongside his his never hits such as "DJ beat that shhh" and "Natural high", explores the aliases that established him as a hero of the underground (think of MD X-Spress, MD III and The Jass Man), and showcases some of his outstanding remixes for other artists ("Devotion" by Ten City and "Not gonna do it" by Vicky Martin). Not to forget to mention many of the tracks feature his unmistakable vocal stylings. Essential.

The third vinyl release on celebrated Good Vibrations Music label will feature brand new undeniably mind-blowing remixes of the US Garage classic "Was it just a game" by Solution (aka Victor Simonelli) and songstress Tafuri (the track was originally released in 1993 on DogHouse Records as the b-side to "Was that all it was" a cover of the Jean Carne classic). Without doubt, these paramount reworks will take over dance floors around the globe by storm, with Black Sonix and label head Sean McCabe both delivering downright enthralling, deep underground-esque interpretations, while Motion Severn slows the pace down a little on their tantalizing rework oozing with a distinct old school influenced flavor.

Toronto based DJ/producer Stoim makes his debut with the splendid "Forgive" released through Italy's Double Cheese Records, a catchy production featuring the deeply felt vocals of Lee Wilson alongside luscious keys and smooth deeply groovin' rhythms. Liquid Deep Recordings, one of UK's most respected house music labels, celebrate their 50th release in proper style with outstanding remixes of S.E.L aka Soulful Emma Louise soul smash hit "Falling", a heartfelt duet with Bryan Chambers. First up we have Booker T who adds his landmark truly magical touch to the song, blessing us with a towering slice of timeless soulful house music, not to forget to mention his vibrant 'Satta Dub' guaranteed to set the dance floor on fire. The cherry on top is DJ Spen's dazzling soul interpretation reminiscent of the early 90's sound.

In late 2007, house music legend Jesse Saunders published his first book "House Music:The Real Story", earlier this year his second book "In Their Own Words" hit the shelves. The book tells the story of the evolution of dance music from Disco to the various genres of Electronic Dance Music (most prominently House and its various genres) in the words of those individuals who lived, loved and discovered it, providing personal perspectives beyond the usual scope of journalists, famous DJ's and historians.
