"Happy song", the first single taken from MF Robots (Music For Robots aka drummer Jan Kincaid and vocalist Dawn Joseph, both formerly with The Brand New Heavies) forthcoming album "Break the wall", returns in a stellar remix package not to be missed. First up we have the extended version of this uplifting and timeless soul/funk gem which lets Dawn Joseph's unrivaled sultry vocals, jazz-tinged chords, classy horns and vibrant rhythm section shine in full glory. The remixes are courtesy of Kenny Dope who drops a fabulous sun drenched interpretation laced with sumptuous keys, funky horn stabs and enthralling rhythms, and Kaidi Tatham & Daz-I-Kue whose beautiful laidback broken beat flavored rendition of the song is truly outstanding.
