The gorgeous "You give me love" is built around smooth percussive rhythms which lead the way for phantasmagorical melodious keys and Chris truly deeply vocals - quite simply beautiful music. On remix duty are Allan H & Kylou who turn the song into a glamorous funk drenched affair laced with sweet guitars and sumptuous keys. |

Back in July of last year, we reviewed the wonderful album "Shades of green" by L.A.M.P, the duo of Andy Compton and fabulous Parisian songstress Ladybird (aka Julie Monnin). The marvelous utterly soulful jazz/funk groove "Love the love" is the first song from the album to get the remix treatment. Situation deliver a laidback yet enthralling truly melodious deep rendition, Andy Compton contributes a gently spiced-up four-to-the-floor interpretation of the original version (which is also included in the release), and last but not least Jonny Montana & Craig Stewart add their beloved organic jazz drench touch - the result is sheer musical bliss. By no means to be missed. |
