Back in 2008, Deepa Grooves Records released the seminal masterly orchestrated "For your love" produced by Jose Burgos and performed in grand style by the one and only Kenny Bobien. "For your love" was the first song taken from Jose Burgos critically acclaimed album "A day in the live" which saw the light of the day in 2010, a few years later it got the remix treatment from none other than Jay-J, now thanks to Soul Heaven Records this wonderful song once again returns to the dance floor in a brand new ingenious re-imagination by South African rising star Cuebur who adds his distinct touch, giving the song a deep raw feel, with the gentle percussive rhythms and inebriant atmospherics together with Kenny Bobien's one-of-a-kind vocals creating a mesmerizing vibe you can't resist to listen and dance to. Also included in the package is the timeless original version. |

"Woman's gotta have it" is one of many unforgettable songs from the unrivaled Bobby Womack (the song is taken from his 1972 album "Understanding"), now this all-time classic is set to take over the dance floors globally thanks to DJ Marcuis and Gary 'Jackmaster Wallace, collectively known as Deep House Providers. Their "She's gotta have it" is a relentless jackin' styled track that cleverly samples the original song, with the delectable tempo drops and of course the one-of-a-kind vocals of Bobby Womack making this something truly special... By no means to be missed. Nuff said. |

Eman and Doc Link are truly unstoppable as they grace us with their latest project, the mind-blowing "Message to the househeads", a groovy production geared towards the underground. Raw'n'chunky deep funked-up rhythms combined with Eman's unrivaled spoken word poetry and enchanting melodies are guaranteed to cause a stir on the floor. Rhonda Rhythm intensifies the vibe with ruthlessly pulsating rhythms and inebriant melodies, while DJ Jshon gives the track a spellbinding retro-esque feel on his fiercely thumpin' deepened rework. But this is not all as DJ Jshon takes his own remix to the next level by replacing some of the elements with a grandiose organ ride. |

Last year in November we were celebrating the release of the debut album "Live free" by Room 806 (the duo of Sipho Ngubane (Rehaz Malick) and Patrick Khuzwayo), now we can enjoy the first single release from the album which is a collaboration with Spain's Silvia Zaragoza and vocalist Chris. The gorgeous "You give me love" is built around smooth percussive rhythms which lead the way for phantasmagorical melodious keys and Chris truly deeply vocals - quite simply beautiful music. On remix duty are Allan H & Kylou who turn the song into a glamorous funk drenched affair laced with sweet guitars and sumptuous keys. |

Back in July of last year, we reviewed the wonderful album "Shades of green" by L.A.M.P, the duo of Andy Compton and fabulous Parisian songstress Ladybird (aka Julie Monnin). The marvelous utterly soulful jazz/funk groove "Love the love" is the first song from the album to get the remix treatment. Situation deliver a laidback yet enthralling truly melodious deep rendition, Andy Compton contributes a gently spiced-up four-to-the-floor interpretation of the original version (which is also included in the release), and last but not least Jonny Montana & Craig Stewart add their beloved organic jazz drench touch - the result is sheer musical bliss. By no means to be missed. |
