When this landed in my mailbox earlier this week, I got hooked the very first moment by the relentless rhythms, thrilling melodies and meaningful lyrics... Groove Junkies are on top of their game here, teaming up with spoken word artist Louis Hale, songstress Peggi Blu and the one and only Solara for "Rhythm talks", a smooth yet vibrant jazz drenched production on a classic tip. The infectious 'GJ Deep Afro Mix' features atmospheric melodies over ruthless afro-deep rhythms, while the 'GJ Mo Hump Mix' turns up the heat with intoxicating drums and a freaky acid bassline. Christopher Wilde takes us on a journey to deepest afro-jazz territory on his spell binding remix, while Angell Vittore & RJ Spinher take the track to the main room with their techy workout.
