SHE001 SHE (Soulful House Experience) has established itself as the most prestigious house brand in Australia, and they kick off their recently launched with the excellent "What am I to do" by Melbourne's DJ Jorj, featuring passionate vocals by Abby Joyce. The original is an uplifting, truly soulful affair featuring a great orchestration including classic strings, gorgeous keys and funk drenched backdrop. Richard Earnshaw delivers a fiercely groovin' interpretation featuring an infectious piano, while Tikyo smoothes the vibe down for a more laidback feel. Finally Graham Cordery contributes a stompin' interpretation on a Disco-ish tip.

WNC Logo ** Exclusive Preview ** This is a special project (full name: Soul Oasis present The K.Joy "I Am Woman" Charity Remix Project featuring Collective Men & Women United for the Women's Cancer Network) for both CyberJamz and the artists involved, as all the proceeds go towards the Women's Cancer Network. In fact, its the biggest project for CyberJamz so far, as Soul Oasis (Sammy Rock) and K.Joy team up with vocalists Martha Wash, Libby Jones, K.Joy, Raiyn, Flora Cruz, Carolyn Harding, Screamin' Rachel, Trizonna McClendon and Dajae to present "I am woman", a production that is all about the powerful lyrics masterly performed by the involved artists. The mixes let you choose between a fiercely stompin' yet soulful affair featuring warm melodic keys and chords, a powered up version with 80's styled synth-pop melodies perfect for peak time play, and finally a marvelous remix by Rob Temple who gives the song a resistless broken beat touch. Exclusive Preview: Andy Ward & Sofia Rubina "Streets of the sun" (SoulHeaven Records CD-R)

Soul Heaven Logo SoulHaven have a beauty in their hands with this upcoming release by DJ and producer Andy Ward, featuring the highly talented Sofia Rubina on vocals. "Streets of the sun" is full of energy yet keeps the overall feel soulful, including phat atmospheric synth melodies and sultry vocals by Sofia Rubina over a deeply thumpin' groove. The gorgeous 'Heavyweight Mix' relaxes the vibe and takes the track to deeper grounds, with Phil Asher on drums and Julian Bendall from Bah Samba playing the keys, while the 'DCS Mix' is an infectious deep house gem on a slightly rougher tip featuring spacy keys. O'Jays ** Exclusive Preview ** "For the love of money" is one of countless classics from The O'Jays (Eddie Levert, Walter Williams, William Powell), originally released back in 1973 on their album "Ship ahoy". The song was produced by the legendary Kenneth Gamble & Leon Huff and features that distinctive, timeless Philly sound they are beloved for. Some years back, there was a remix project for the Philadelphia International catalogue in the works involving King Britt who had the chance to remix "For the love of money", with Leon Huff playing the pianos The remix stays true to the original and keeps the funky Philly vibe intact while taking the song to the dance floors with a smooth yet fierce up-tempo musical backing. Sadly, this remix may never come out...

Mustafa featuring Flexie Muiso "Let it rain" (Staff Productions CD Promo)

Mustafa - Let it rain "Let it rain" by Mustafa is a wonderful deep affair featuring passionate vocals by Flexie Muiso and gorgeous keys over a smooth percussion enriched groove. The 'Afro Jazz' mixes are more laidback, featuring jazzy keys and sax over an Afro drenched backdrop. Hedi Benromdan gives the track a deep smoothly stompin' outfit, while Ezel goes for a deep groovey rework with lush melodies. Rafael Yapudjian and RyB team up for a deeper than deep version on a mellow tip, and Hard Mix! inject the track with sweet Brazilian sounds. Sunlightsquare contribute a warm melodic deep house take, while lastly Frisco takes you back to the 80's with his synth fueled rework.

The uplifting "Alucinada de Prazer" by Swiss DJ and producer Steven Stone features sweet Portuguese vocals by Elisangela, jazzy trumpets, funky guitars and marvelous keys over a smooth Latin drenched groove, altogether spreading a feel good vibe. The release includes a great selection of remixes, with the Stereo Mutants going deep and melodic on their mixes, Jihad Muhammad turning out a beautiful jazzed-up impetration on a laidback tip, Hernan Cronner giving the track a smooth, Bossa-Nova influenced tribal touch, and finally Jarrier Modrow who goes for a pumpier sound with classy synth chords perfect for peak time play.

Australian DJ and producer DJ Jori presents the wonderful "Back 2 me" featuring outstanding vocals by diva Michelle Weeks and the one and only Byron Stingily. The original version masterly orchestrated with warm beats, classic strings and exquisite keys. The 'Club Mix' gives the track mesmeric tribal-ish feel, while the 'SouledOut Edit' is a funked-up affair. The remixes are courtesy of Juan Kid (aka Jason Herd) who takes the track to the big room with his electrofied mixes, followed by DJ Rork whose bouncy rework features captivating keys and chords.

Exclusive Preview: Sacha "I can't pretend" (Shines Records CD Promo)

About a year ago, Shines released the Sacha Williamson and Dave Campbell produced "I can't pretend" featuring sensual vocals by Sacha Williamson. Finally, the eagerly awaited remixes are ready to drop, with the versions by label head Gene King being on a deep tip, featuring lush synth melodies and lovely keys over a contaminous groove. Joe DiPadova and Shea Marshall contribute two remixes: the first one uses deeply thumpin' beats that are enriched with sweet percussion, wicked synths and phat chords, with their second remix going even deeper, using wonderful laminar keys to give it a more laidback feeling. Black Keys Music (Joe Rizla) goes deep and hypnotic on his percussion fueled take, while Dos Alamas serve the deepest mixes of the package, giving the track a moody feeling.

Image It's unbelievable how Vick Lavender and his Sophisticado imprint manage to impress us time and time again... This EP includes music by some of Chicago's most innovative producers who all bless us with their masterly contributions to this project. Anthony Nicholson's wonderful "The voyager" starts things of nicely with an irresistible journey into cosmic jazz, featuring his partner his partner William Kurk on keys, vibes and live bass. "St. Luiz" by DeJay Cease is deep and spiritual, with the marvelous percussion by Joe Rendon and keys by Mike Logan creating an infectious feel. Last but not least, Vick Lavender presents "Planet S", a delicious fusion of jazz-funk with house as only he can do, featuring the sultry voice by Celeste Alexander. Timeless and blissful music for those who understand.
